Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 96

Torrin frowned. So the man on the phone this afternoon, the one who called himself Larissa’s fiancé, was Haskell.

It didn’t matter who he used to be. Now he was just a useless cripple. He was no competition at all.

Larissa saw her new parents walking back toward her, their faces grim.

“What’s wrong?”

“We just ran into an incredibly rude young man,” Sapphira fumed.

Larissa glanced toward the entrance and saw Torrin. She immediately understood.

“You know him, Larissa?” Sapphira asked.

Larissa didn’t hide it. “Yes. He’s my ex-boyfriend. He broke up with me after he found out he was the heir to a wealthy family.”

“I see,” Sapphira said, her dislike for Torrin deepening. “He had the audacity to announce that he was going to marry you. As if you were some prize to be claimed!”

Neville put a calming arm around her. “Now, now, don’t let him get to you. We’ll just ignore him.”

Sapphira took a deep breath. “You’re right. Larissa, we’ll pay him no mind.”

“Okay,” Larissa agreed. As long as he stayed away from her, she was happy to ignore him.

Zoltan turned to his grandson. “Alright, I can see your mind is elsewhere. You don’t need to stay by my side. Go on, spend some time with your fiancée.”
