The barbaric cultivators' faces were as pale as paper, and filled with unbridled terror. They had never imagined that someone could surpass the physical prowess of their own barbaric clan members! Moreover, all of their attacks were forcefully repelled by Severin's fists.
Severin's surging energy and terrifying physical strength overwhelmed the barbaric cultivators, leaving them dazed. They even felt as if their chests had been struck by a massive mountain, causing the spiritual energy within their bodies to stagnate.
Even more terrifying was that two of the weakest barbaric cultivators had their physical bodies completely ruptured; their entire beings resembling broken dolls sewn back together!
"Heh, there's so much you don't know," Severin said with a cold and indifferent smirk when he saw the terrified expressions on their faces. "Get lost, or it'll be your death!"
Faced with Severin's threat, the injured and frightened cultivators had no choice but to step aside and let him pass.
A sense of despair settled in Kloudius' heart when he saw his fellow clan members being defeated by Severin. He was well aware of Severin's formidable strength. After all, the latter was capable of holding his own against both Drake and Wenzel!
While Severin did have an elite-quality spiritual treasure and a royal paragon protective charm, those were just facets of his overall power. Kloudius understood that even if he managed to defeat Blake and secure the divine gold, escaping unscathed would prove to be a challenging task.
Faced with two options, Kloudius weighed his choices. One choice involved persuading Blake to join forces and defeat Severin together before deciding who would get the Flamegold. The other choice was to simply retreat.
After careful consideration, Kloudius ultimately decided to ask Blake to join forces. He did not want to give up on getting the Flamegold. Once he made up his mind, he immediately communicated with Blake through divine sense, saying, "Blake, you've seen it yourself how powerful Severin is. How about we work together to get rid of him first, and then we'll talk about who gets the Flamegold? Otherwise, neither of us will get it!"
This event had left a lasting grudge in Blake's heart, causing him to harbor deep resentment towards Severin. It was this resentment that led to the deliberate spread of information, enticing Halbert to challenge Severin for the elite-quality spiritual treasure.
Facing a situation similar to the past, Blake pondered for a moment before nodding in agreement. "I'll trust you this time."
Kloudius was overjoyed at Blake's agreement. Without further ado, he immediately redirected his attention towards Severin.
He waved his hand, summoning a seven-foot-long sword into his grasp. The long sword gleamed with golden light, and emanated a cold and sharp killing intent.
