Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2867

Over at the Menzies ancestral land at Eastplain, what should have been wisps of mystical clouds and purple mist that blessed the land had turned into rolling thunder and dark winds that whipped up a flurry of debris into the sky.

The ground was covered in blood that converged into a river at the entrance to the Menzies' ancestral land. There were ripples in the void within a several-hundred-mile radius, and chaotic energy raged unabated.

Their ancestral land that was deemed a sort of heaven on earth had since been turned into disarray.

The several remaining family members activated their formations under the leadership of the family head to mount a desperate resistance against the Primordial Sacred Land.

Standing suspended in mid-air, Xavier could feel the wind blowing right beneath him. He placed his hands behind his back and glanced haughtily at the Menzies' formation in front of him. With contempt in his eyes and derision in his posture, he sneered at Baldwin, "Perhaps the Menzies are yet to understand the situation they are in."

Xavier had killed three of Eastplain's half-immortals in barely a day. His strength was unparalleled, and left an indelible mark through the continent. With three families already dealt with successfully, he immediately led his men from the Primordial Sacred Land to attack the Menzies.

However, the Menzies resisted his offensive, much to his surprise.

Baldwin immediately responded flatteringly to the remark. "Well, these Menzies don't know what's good for them. They deserve to be slaughtered and wiped out."

Xavier used the power of lightning to kill three half-immortals at a time when the rest of Eastplain's families were not paying attention. The Primordial Sacred Land reaped much from that venture, with Baldwin and Grenn who followed closely behind him getting the chance to devour many supreme paragons too.

However, the only fly in the ointment was that the Burkes' head had escaped successfully. As a result, the other five families were alerted to the Primordial Sacred Land's invasion of Eastplain, and each of them—including the Menzies—activated their formations while seeking help from the outside world.

Xavier's prolonged attacks failed to break the formation. "A fierce battle you say?" he sneered in a teasing tone. "Adrian will make for good nourishment if he shows up here."

The Grandiuno Sacred Land had sabotaged Xavier's plans time and again, which Xavier was particularly frustrated about. Besides, he was already inching toward becoming an immortal, and his combat power would be strong enough to make him almost invincible against other half-immortals. Adrian's arrival did not scare him in the slightest.
