Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2879

As the sea breeze rustled and the waves rolled, the spiritual sea in front of him abruptly turned ink-black. Its vibrant essence had ceased to exist.

Surging malevolent energy filled the air, whipping up strong winds and unleashing a shower of rain. Yet, the rain was no ordinary precipitation. It was dark, foul-smelling, and tainted with pollution. In just an instant, all life within the sea was extinguished.

The Ancestora had attained the power of a true immortal upon escaping his confinement, despite only ascending just moments ago. True immortals, beings of pure solar energy that were born from the void, could peer into the river of time and use the rules of heaven and earth to fortify themselves. Even a mere drop of their blood could remain undestroyed for epochs. Their slightest emotions could cause the heavens and earth to shift hues and induce a myriad of visions.

After absorbing the memories of his clone, the Ancestora discovered that a descendant of the Green Emperor had emerged in the Bleurealm Realm, and that Xavier was currently engaged in battle at Eastplain. His eyes gleamed with a cold intensity as he murmured, "Hmph! Xavier is but a mere speck of dust who aspires to become a mountain. What ludicrousness!"

The Ancestora's true form had broken free from the seal, and a mere half-immortal like Xavier was child's play to him. However, it was Severin that truly concerned him. Possessing the treasure of the former Green Emperor, Severin was exceedingly talented and progressed with unparalleled speed. Despite witnessing countless geniuses throughout the epochs, none rivaled the almost freakish nature that Severin had, and the Ancestora harbored a vague feeling that Severin might just become a formidable adversary.

"It would seem that I must do some very careful planning..."

With the strength of a true immortal, he could shatter the barriers separating the celestial realm and the devil realm if he used all his might. That would allow him to breach the gates of heaven and be given entry into the land.

However, immortality was not his sole objective.

The celestial demon, whose name was Laterra, was only fortunate enough to have chanced upon the Bleurealm by peering into the river of time. He then pursued it, although that ultimately led to his demise. Unaware of Laterra's findings, the Green Emperor chose to ascend shortly after slaying him, thus unwittingly squandering an opportunity.

According to Laterra's conjecture, becoming the Lord of the Realm could allow one to directly become a royal celestial. Once the three realms were unified, then the royal celestial might one day become the celestial sovereign.

"I've plotted this for thousands upon thousands of epochs. None shall wrest this position of Lord of the Realm from me!" the Ancestora muttered and swiftly vanished from the scene.
