"No! This can't be happening!" Zione refused to accept that Severin possessed a strength so monstrous that even the true immortal's specter that he conjured from the True Immortal Jade Charm had succumbed to Severin's attack.

As he watched the Oculus Blade's slash hurtling towards him, his nerves tensed up and he felt a creep up his spine. When Zione regained his senses, he immediately sought to tear the void open and escape—an opportunity that Severin would most certainly seek to deny.

Severin and his party breached the Darkness Sacred Land's defenses without much effort, entering their cave world and raiding their treasure room.

"Ah, we have some Purpuraleaf here! Not bad," Severin remarked. "And the water from their spring would be very useful in nourishing one's solar spirit. It would be perfect for Diane and the girls. Oh, and there's even some traces of dark energy here. This will come in handy for consolidating the foundation of a royal paragon. At least I have something for Selene's attainment too." He gathered all the treasures that were beneficial to his family before departing.

Half an hour later, Severin and his group returned to Midland from the Darkness Sacred Land with spoils filling their pockets to the brim.
