The snow fell in thick, fluffy flakes. Logan slowly lowered Lisa down, his hands still resting on her waist to steady her.

He gazed at her face, flushed from both laughter and the cold. "So, do you want to be with me?"

Lisa looked up, her neck aching slightly. Snowflakes were dusting her face, feeling chilly. Had Logan been wearing insoles today? He seemed so much taller than normal.

"I want to, but I'm afraid to," she replied honestly.

His heart skipped a beat as he finally received a hint of response from her.

When she said she was afraid, Logan knew exactly what she feared. His eyes, darkened by the night, grew even more intense. "I'll take care of everything you're afraid of. You just need to be brave and take a step forward."

Lisa was completely captivated by his incredibly handsome face. In her mind, Logan was the most beautiful man alive.
