Chapter 2
Arthur looked at my defiant eyes, clearly displeased internally.
Perhaps he was complaining to his wolf that I was becoming increasingly ungrateful! They had “gently and patiently” provided me a year of fake princess life, just asking me to spend two years in prison for Caroline, yet this was my attitude! Truly, rogue wolves have no upbringing!
Arthur’s face was cold, disgust flickering in his eyes as he said coldly: “What kind of attitude is this? Do you think I wanted to pick you up? It’s only
because Mom and Dad asked me to.”
“With your criminal record now, you should be grateful we’re letting you return to Silver Moon Pack. Don’t be too greedy!”
“Caroline is still at home waiting for you. She prepared cake for you – don’t disappoint her!”
Looking at Arthur’s hypocritical face, I felt nothing but nausea.
I sneered: “My criminal record – wasn’t that your arrangement and design? Especially you, my dear brother, Lawyer Arthur.”
When I took the blame and went to prison for Caroline, Arthur contributed significantly.
Of course, not just him, but also the other three blood–related brothers and my biological parents.
Arthur was stunned, his expression instantly changing.
The old me always spoke and acted cautiously, desperately trying to please everyone at Silver Moon Pack.
No matter what they said, I never dared contradict them.
But now I dared to mock them.
Arthur rubbed his temples, explaining displeasedly: “We had no choice in that situation. We could only protect Caroline.”
“Caroline is different from you. She’s never suffered hardship. If she went to prison, her life would be ruined.”
I scoffed: “So I deserved all this suffering?”
“When you brought me back to Silver Moon Pack, you swore to make up for the family love I’d missed.”
“I naively believed it. What did I get in return?”
My eyes were ice–cold as I stared directly at Arthur, a mocking smile playing on my lips: “That naive Hazel died in prison long ago.”
“Now, I don’t need you anymore.”
Arthur was stunned.
Only when I turned to leave did he snap back to reality.
He frowned and shouted: “Don’t forget – what pack would dare take in a rogue wolf with a criminal record? Without Silver Moon Pack, you’re nothing! Less than a beggar!”
Arthur’s cold gaze pierced toward me.
He waited confidently for my apology.
After all, the old me feared continued wandering most, feared losing family most.
“Besides, you lived a year of luxury at Silver Moon Pack. I don’t believe you can adapt to poor, simple living again!”
Luxury?

Chapter 2
I suddenly laughed and slowly turned back.
“Clothes. You never bought me any clothes, Caroline wore countless designer brands while I wore servant’s clothes daily.”
“Food. You never let me eat at the table. I always ate with the Pack’s Omega servants,”
“Living conditions. I lived in the stairwell of Silver Moon Pack’s mansion. Even the maids and servants had bigger, brighter rooms than mine.”
“Transportation. I had to run ten kilometers daily to the training grounds while Caroline had a dedicated driver.”
“Money. Caroline had a bank card specifically for pocket money, while you never even paid my school fees.”
I looked at Arthur’s livid face and said coldly: “Whether materially or spiritually, you never gave me any substantial help.”
“So tell me, who exactly lived this luxurious life for me?”
Arthur’s expression grew increasingly ugly.
His face was complex. After brief panic, he quickly regained his usual composure, desperately trying to save face: “Hazel, just say what you need. Silver Moon Pack wouldn’t shortchange you materially.”
“No need.”
