Chapter 37
Hazel’s POV:
He looked at me with burning eyes.
I frowned.
What was wrong with this guy today? Walking with swagger, speaking with flavor, even his aura was as dazzling as a peacock displaying its feathers. Acting like he was courting me.
Xander Wentworth suddenly stood up: “Karina, take me for a walk over there.”
Lady Eleanor also immediately stood up: “Perfect, I’d like to move around too.”
I lowered my head and smiled.
Karina naturally understood what they meant, smiling as she agreed while helping the two elders slowly walk to the other
side.
Once they left, only Vincent and I remained here.
I slowly moved my gaze from his face downward, openly scanning him from head to toe.
Tsk, those legs wrapped in dress pants were indeed quite pleasing to the eye.
I curved my lips, deliberately teasing his appetite: “Money at my discretion?”
A flash of interest appeared in his eyes as he suddenly moved closer to me. The Alpha scent from his body also pressed over, his low magnetic voice carrying seduction: “Of course, if you’re satisfied with my body… I could also pay with that.”
Me: “…”
I really wasn’t unfamiliar with thick–skinned people, but this one was something else.
However, I admitted he was among the top tier of Alphas, and his physique was indeed flawless. Otherwise, I wouldn’t keep stealing glances every time we met.
But he misunderstood–there was no desire in my gaze, only aesthetic appreciation. Like looking at a work of art: perfect proportions, elegant lines, arrogant yet wild temperament.
Too bad-
He was too aware of his own charm, confident to the point of being annoying.
Vincent continued talking, his voice like a seductive demon, low and soft against my ear, making my ears tingle.
I simply put my gaze back on him, even more brazenly than before.
If looks could “drive,” I was probably already on the highway, and speeding at that.

Chapter 37
I deliberately paused, my gaze slowly stopping at his lower region.
He raised an eyebrow, his eyes full of smugness waiting for me to “submit.”
I smiled.
“You–1 paused, looking at his smug face, my tone turning cold, “certainly think highly of yourself.”
His expression clearly stiffened, even his eye corner twitched.
Then he looked like a puppy whose tail had been stepped on, with some einbarrassed anger and disbelief, his voice low and almost grinding his teeth: “Hazel.”
Seeing him now looking like a bristling puppy, I couldn’t help but curve my lips upward.
Third Person POV:
While socializing, Joseph’s gaze kept drifting toward where Hazel and Vincent were.
Seeing the two of them chatting happily, his eyes behind the glasses also cooled.
The person across from him joked: “Looks like Joseph’s rare heartfelt interest might be stolen by someone else.“,
Joseph smiled calmly: “The game is on. Until the end, no one knows who the winner will be.”
But Joseph’s words surprised the person across from him.
He had known Joseph for many years.
Joseph rarely made public statements, but everyone knew Joseph.
Just like everyone knew Vincent even though they hadn’t seen him much.
Packs also had hierarchies.
Joseph and Vincent’s families were truly at the peak of the werewolf pyramid.
-Joseph was active in Moon Shadow City because he took over the family business–refined, elegant, handsome and wealthy.
The women wanting to climb onto Joseph’s bed were countless.
But Joseph had never shown interest in any woman.
This was similar to young master Vincent/
Only Vincent was too ruthless in his actions, so most people feared him.
Comparatively, Joseph was much more refined.
