Because she used too much force, her hand also hurt from the slap.

“Someone like you deserves to be Hazel’s father?” she said coldly and sternly: “You should just drop dead!”

She shook her hand, “That hurt like hell.” Then she looked at the Gamma warriors, “Have them all arrested.”

The Gamma warriors stood at attention, “Yes!”

After speaking, Karina glanced at the family of three once more before leaving with Maxwell.

Hearing they were going to call police to arrest them, the family of three immediately panicked.

No matter how shameless this family was, they were quickly subdued by the Gamma warriors.

Maxwell was puzzled, “How did they end up here?”

After getting in the car, Karina snorted coldly, “Need you ask? Someone must be pulling strings behind the scenes.”

“This family really isn’t worth anything, and they claim to be Hazel’s adoptive parents. What kind of parents talk about their own daughter like that? Same adoptive daughter situation–look how Silver Moon Pack pampers Caroline!”

The more she spoke, the more her heart ached for Hazel.

To encounter two such families was truly terrible luck.

Karina remained silent for a while, then called Hazel.

I was flipping through variety show proposals that Rowan had handed me.

One was an esports program, the other an outdoor survival reality show.

Both seemed quite unsettled.

Just as I was about to continue reading, the phone rang. It was Karina.

“Oh? The Smith family came to cause trouble?” The corner of my lips curved slightly as I tapped the stone patterns on the desktop with my fingertips. “Then let’s make it bigger. Sorry to trouble you, Mom.”

After hanging up, a cold glint appeared in my eyes.

Since I said there’d be entertainment soon, Rowan didn’t ask further and returned to discussing work.

“Your online reputation is quite polarized now. Though I know you definitely don’t care about this stuff, the buzz and attention are really high. Some of your drama stills were leaked, right? They’ve already gone viral, and people following you have skyrocketed.”

I raised an eyebrow: “And then?”

“Then lots of variety shows want to invite you.” He pointed at the proposals, “I picked two–high pay and reliable resources.

But…”

His tone shifted, expression meaningful: “Both programs‘ tentative guest lists include Silver Moon Pack’s little princess, Caroline. I heard she was confirmed early on–they’re strongly promoting her into the industry. Quite a coincidence, right?”

I hummed softly, not showing much emotion.

“Quite good,” I said.

“Hm?” Rowan clearly hadn’t expected this reaction.

The corner of my lips curved up in a slightly malicious smile: “Destroy her.”

Rowan was silent for several seconds.

Just then I turned to another page, and he added: “This esports variety show also features Silver Moon Pack’s fourth son Gerald’s team.”

I looked up: “Oh, destroy them too.”

Rowan: ”

Very good. I figured when he was speechless was when he agreed with me most.

I suddenly thought of something and asked him: “My medicinal fields have sprouted, right? Drake’s sentence is almost up?”
