Marked By The Mad King Alpha (Phoebe and Perry) novel Chapter 214

**His Mercy Tastes Like Hunger**
**Chapter 214: Reginald Steps In**

**Fiona’s POV**

A wave of nausea washed over me as I spotted Allen approaching, his figure cutting through the space between us like a dark cloud. My teeth clenched tightly, and my hands instinctively balled into fists, a physical manifestation of the turmoil roiling within me. Just the sight of him sent a chill down my spine, igniting a deep-seated revulsion that made my stomach twist in knots.

“What are you doing all alone?” Allen positioned himself right in front of me, blocking my escape. I was seated, forcing me to tilt my head back uncomfortably to meet his gaze. His eyes glinted with mischief, and I felt a surge of anger rise within me.

I despised this feeling of being looked down upon, both literally and metaphorically. I attempted to rise, to walk away and reclaim my space, but before I could take a step, his hand landed heavily on my shoulder, pressing me back down into my seat.

“No, stay right there,” he said, a sickly sweet smile spreading across his lips. “I prefer the view from this angle.”

It was painfully obvious what depraved fantasies were swirling in his mind, and I could hardly contain my disgust. “Take your hands off me,” I said, my voice steady yet laced with venom. I kept my tone low, but the fury simmering beneath the surface was unmistakable, a fierce fire that refused to be extinguished.

I was acutely aware of the few people scattered around us, and I didn’t want to attract their attention, even though the crowd was sparse. The salty ocean breeze filled my nostrils, mingling with my dread and making everything feel even more suffocating.

“Mmm. I’ve indulged myself with thoughts of you plenty of times before, haven’t I?” he taunted, his voice dripping with mockery.

“Touch me, and I’ll toss you straight into that ocean!” I warned, my heart racing with both fear and determination. But Allen merely laughed, a cruel sound that echoed in the air between us.

“You can’t be serious, can you? You need me. Do you really think those border guards will let you through without my backing? They’ll slaughter you the moment they discover you’re from Mya Kingdom. You need me, Fiona. Your whole group does. You won’t make it without me.”

His words rang true, and that realization filled me with loathing. I hated him for speaking the truth, for being the very thing I despised yet couldn’t escape.

“Keep away from me. I won’t feed into your sick fantasies,” I retorted, knocking his hand off my shoulder with a defiant shove. But as I tried to rise again, he pushed me back down, his expression darkening at my resistance.

“You look adorable when you fight back, but I don’t think you want to draw others over here,” he sneered, relishing the power he held over me.

“Just be a good girl and take it,” he said, his tongue sliding across his lips with a predatory gleam in his eyes. He unzipped his pants, revealing his hardened length, and I nearly gagged at the sight. I struggled as he seized my hair, attempting to force my head toward him.

“I’ll scream if you try that!” I shouted, my voice trembling with a mix of fear and fury.

“Go ahead, scream and let everyone know you’re carrying my pup. What do you think? Won’t that be wonderful news?” His laughter was a cruel mockery, knowing full well I wouldn’t dare to make such a scene.

I loathed him with every fiber of my being, the thought of anyone discovering I was pregnant with his child sending waves of despair crashing over me.

“Perfect. Now, be a good girl and take it,” he urged, just as he was about to thrust himself toward me. But then, out of nowhere, someone tapped his shoulder, startling him. He spun around, and I held my breath, praying for a miracle.

Reginald stood there, his presence commanding and unwavering. “That can wait. I need you to go over some things with Alpha Sterling,” he said, his voice steady and authoritative. He didn’t even cast a glance in my direction, but I could see the tension in his jaw, the way his grip on Allen’s shoulder tightened.
