Marrying Without My Eight-Year Boyfriend Knowing novel Chapter 91

Nina’s family was quickly exposed.

There was a lot of turbulence regarding their shares, and to calm the anger of netizens, Nina’s family was left with no choice but to give up on both their daughters.

This led to a very interesting turn of events.

Mr. Anderson, who had been quite fond of Nina, immediately canceled her engagement with Jorge once he found out that Nina had been abandoned.

Nina was kicked out of the Anderson family.

Even the ring that Anderson’s grandmother had given her was taken back.

At first, I didn’t know about any of this.

After dinner with Liam one evening, on our way home, I ran into Anderson’s grandmother.

She was as warm and affectionate as she had been when I was a child, holding my hand and speaking kind words.

Then, she brought out the ring:

“Colette, this ring...”

Liam immediately reacted and blocked her hand.

His face instantly darkened:

“Grandma, don’t give my Colette this trash that was taken back from someone else. I think it’s dirty.”

With that, he took my hand and walked off, ignoring Anderson’s grandmother calling after us.

He walked me all the way to the door, and as he was about to leave, I lightly tugged at his sleeve.

As he paused in confusion, I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him.

“I’m glad I’m marrying you.”

“No.”

I watched his desolate figure leave, then turned my attention away, ready to rest again.

But the door opened once more.

Liam rushed in, and when he saw me still there, he visibly relaxed.

I waved at him:

“Can’t wait to see your beautiful bride, huh? Here, take a look!”

Liam smiled.

I smiled too.

Everything was understood without words.
