Nicholas couldn't hold back and cursed, "Sebastian's out of his mind!"
Roxanne shrugged, her pretty face full of indifference. "I think so too."
Wasn't it just sick of him to want it all?
Nicholas was so furious he didn't know what to say. If Sebastian weren't his cousin, he would have told Roxanne to dump him already. Was this even how a person should behave?
Without a word, he stormed back to Sebastian's room. He kicked the door open, his face blazing with anger and his eyes sharp as knives as he glared at Sebastian.
"You promised you'd pick Roxanne up today. Why did you bail on her?" Nicholas demanded.
Sebastian replied weakly, "Today's Miles' death anniversary."
"Sebastian Hayes!" Nicholas roared. "You're a businessman. You should know better than anyone how important keeping your word is. If you make a promise, you follow through. If you can't, then don't make the promise in the first place."
Sebastian's handsome face was filled with helplessness, and his brows drew tighter. "Liana said this would be the last time."
Nicholas let out a sarcastic laugh. "The last time? How many times has she said that? And when has it ever been the last time?" He shook his head. "Sebastian, I now understand why Roxanne has given up on you. You deserve it."
Sebastian's slender fingers curled into a fist. "I just show Liana a bit of care. Why is Roxanne so bothered by it? I've already promised to marry her, and I've even proposed. What more does she want?"
Nicholas was speechless at his tone. "Exactly. You just give Liana a bit of special treatment, and you're questioning why Roxanne can't be a little more understanding. Following the same logic, Roxanne just had a meal with Zachary, watched the star and the moon with him, and strolled under the flowers with him. Why can't you be a little understanding of them too?"
