Liana couldn't control her anger. Her heart clenched painfully after seeing the sparkling diamond in Roxanne's video. She screamed as she swept the things off the counter, making them clatter noisily onto the ground. Her pale and delicate face was twisted with fury.
Nicholas happened to pass by Liana's ward after checking in on another patient. When he heard the strange sounds echoing from within, he knocked on the door. He entered the ward and took in the trashed state of it. Liana looked like she had succumbed to insanity.
Nicholas frowned, a hint of impatience flashing on his face. "Liana, this is the hospital, not your house. Please remain quiet and don't forget your basic manners."
Nicholas wasn't Taylor. He wasn't going to give preferential treatment to Liana and play along with her tantrums. Nicholas also wasn't Sebastian. He wasn't going to fulfill all of Liana's requests.
Even as her friend, Nicholas didn't like Liana. Why would anyone with principles like a homewrecker? In Nicholas' eyes, Liana was nothing but a shameless homewrecker. Everyone knew that Sebastian and Roxanne were a couple. Roxanne was even his fiancée.
If Liana had even a drop of morality in her, she would have kept her distance from Sebastian. She wouldn't have ruined their special day and stirred up trouble during their engagement party. She was a despicable person.
Of course, Sebastian was also at fault for enabling her.
Nicholas was extremely put off by Liana's haughty attitude that made her think that everything would go her way. She had no idea that her special status was only afforded to her because of Miles. Whenever she caused trouble, she didn't feel even a shred of guilt. She had completely destroyed the grace that Miles had left for her.
