Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 545

Josie was at her wit's end with Oliver and had almost given up trying to deal with him.

A big shot like him getting carsick? Yeah, right!

"Oliver, keep your hands to yourself and move them down," she said, thinking Oliver was just trying to cop a feel.

As Oliver's hand moved lower, Josie's heart thudded alarmingly. That man's hands were just too darn roving.

"Josie, where do you want my hands, huh?" Oliver's voice, a seductive whisper right by her ear, made her shiver uncontrollably. It was as if she'd been struck by a bolt of electricity, leaving her flustered and unsure.

"Oliver, can't you just give me some space? Can't you sit back a bit more?"

Oliver chuckled. "Josie, you know there's only so much room on this bike, right?"

Josie loved her motorcycle and had it customized for solo rides, often finding herself warding off people who wanted to hop on the back. This had become such a nuisance that she had it modified to comfortably seat just herself and maybe a smidgen more.

But today, with Oliver tagging along, space was indeed tight. She'd forgotten about that, leading to a feeling akin to shooting herself in the foot.

Josie sped up and pulled over to the curb. "Get off."

Oliver was reluctant, not ready to leave her side. "Josie, if you leave me here, how am I supposed to get home? Are you not going to drop me off? Or we could go to your place," he suggested.

Josie was at a loss for words. "You know your chauffeur has been tailing us. He'll be here any second to pick you up," she replied with a hint of irritation.

No sooner had she spoken than the driver pulled up beside them, rolled down his window, and shouted, "Mr. Oliver, Ms. Josie, my buddy's in the hospital, it's an emergency. I gotta go see him. Mr. Oliver, do you mind if I go first?"
