"Wow, this seafood is amazing. It feels just like we're back at Rose Bay Island. Rosa, seeing you enjoy the food here makes me really happy."
Grant had brought a selection of seafood, hoping to surprise Josefina by cooking for her himself. But now, with the current situation, he couldn't bring himself to present his surprise, feeling a pang of disappointment.
Oliver, without saying a word, attentively poured water for Josefina and peeled shrimp for her, showing care in every small gesture.
Seeing this, Grant's eyes dimmed, and he lowered his head, sipping on his seafood chowder.
Soon, another dish arrived—sweet and sour pork ribs.
Josefina looked surprised. "Didn't we skip ordering this?"
Grant was also taken aback since it was one of his favorite dishes.
Did Josefina order it for him?
Oliver spoke up, "I ordered this for Grant. Josie, didn't you say he loves this dish? They don't normally serve it here, but I asked the chef to make an exception."
Oliver glanced at Grant. "Go ahead, give it a try."
Grant was surprised by Oliver's gesture. Wasn't there animosity between them? Why would Oliver go out of his way to do something nice?
Before Grant could feel touched, Oliver added, "You're Josie's brother, which makes you family. So, Grant, buddy, how's the chef's sweet and sour pork?"
Grant was speechless. It was all about keeping him away from Josefina!
He picked up his fork and tried a rib, his face lighting up with surprise. It was delicious.
Even without words, Josefina could tell how much he enjoyed it.
