Shocked, Tony raised his head. “What?”

It was Harry’s child! Tony’s vision went black, and he almost passed out.

Tony heard them say that her child was illegitimate, but no one told him that it was Harry’s! These businessmen could not afford to offend the Zimmerman family.

With a wave of Harry’s hand, a group of people dressed in all black flooded the room. He walked to the window and lit a cigarette. “You’d better pray that my child is safe.”

Howls and cries echoed behind Harry. Finally, his phone buzzed. He received a message saying that Catherine’s operation had ended, but the child was gone.

Harry’s hands were trembling. As ashes fell from his cigarette, he laughed darkly. He looked like a grim reaper from hell.

“My child is gone. Have you decided how you would like to die?”

When he finished his sentence, Adrian grabbed Tony by his hair and forced him to look up. Tony had been beaten to a pulp.

The arrogance he had in front of Catherine matched the disheveled state he was in now. Crying, he begged.

“I didn’t know… We didn’t know that you were still involved with Catherine…”

“Are you saying that you’re free to lay your hands on her if she had nothing to do with me?” Harry stomped on Tony’s hand. His bones cracked under the force.

Tony squealed like a pig, his voice piercing Harry’s ear.

Harry punched Tony’s jaw and put his cigarette out on Tony’s eye, causing him to pass out from the pain.

However, it wasn’t enough to extinguish Harry’s anger and hatred. The Zimmerman family had been waiting for the child’s birth for the longest time.

Harry was even looking forward to becoming a father, but now Tony had ruined everything! He couldn’t let Tony go! As fury filled his heart, Harry wanted to kill Tony to avenge his child. Then, his phone buzzed again. Catherine had been pushed out of the operating room.

Harry’s fury subsided. After leaving the matter to Adrian, he went to the hospital.

However, Catherine was still asleep. After suffering from a miscarriage, she looked terribly pale.

Harry stumbled backward and fell to the floor. Adam quickly helped him up. “Mr. Zimmerman, are you okay?”

Harry waved his worry off. “I’m fine.”

Although he said that he was fine, a tear rolled down his cheek. The sorrow of losing his child swallowed him whole.

If he knew that Catherine was going to meet up with a person like Tony, he would’ve looked into him to keep her safe. However, there were no ifs.

When Adam saw Harry cry, he was shocked. He always thought Harry felt nothing for Catherine, but now he realized that he was wrong.

Harry had feelings for Catherine, but he had hidden them so well that no one noticed.

Harry said to the nurse, “Hand the child to me.” He wanted to bring it back to Neovara and bury it in the Zimmerman family’s cemetery.

After dealing with the child, Harry returned to Catherine’s hospital room and held her hand. He said regretfully, “I’m sorry. I should’ve gotten there sooner.”
