Mr Melendez Your Wife Wants Divorce Long Ago novel Chapter 191

**Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
**By J.S. Caldwell**
**Chapter 191**

Jayceon confronted Arabella, his expression dark and serious. “The child is unwell, calling out for you, and yet you rush me to go to her. When did you and Georgina become so synchronized in your actions?” His voice held a mixture of frustration and bewilderment, a storm of emotions brewing beneath his calm facade.

Arabella, feeling the heat of his accusation, shot back defensively, “Jayceon, if your relationship with Georgina was truly as innocent as you insist, you wouldn’t be so anxious about me being friends with her. The more you try to deny it, the more it reveals that you have something to conceal!” Her heart raced as she spoke, each word punctuated by the urgency of her conviction.

Caught off guard, Jayceon found himself momentarily speechless, the weight of her words pressing heavily upon him.

Just then, his phone buzzed insistently with Georgina’s name flashing on the screen for the third time. With a resigned sigh, Jayceon turned and left, the door clicking shut behind him.

As soon as the sound of his footsteps faded, Arabella wasted no time and immediately dialed Six.

A few moments later, a sharp knock echoed through the room.

Arabella opened the door, ushering Six into the dimly lit study where Jayceon often worked. “I know you’re a renowned hacker in the underbelly of the internet. I need your expertise to crack the encrypted files on this computer.” Her voice was a mix of urgency and desperation.

Six leaned against the desk, arms crossed, and raised an eyebrow. “Bella, if I help you out, what’s in it for me?” His tone was teasing, but there was a glimmer of seriousness in his eyes.

Arabella quickly offered, “Next time you visit a doctor, I’ll make sure to order fewer tests for you. Think of the money you’ll save!” She tried to sound casual, but the stakes felt higher than ever.

Six made a face, his lips curling in mock disgust. “You think that’s enough to entice me?”

Feeling the pressure mounting, Arabella wiped a bead of sweat from her brow, her anxiety palpable. “What if I also treat you to a meal? Your favorite!”

Six smirked, “Unless you let me come over for free meals whenever I want, I’m not convinced.”

With a determined shove, Arabella pushed him into the office chair. “Deal!” she exclaimed, relief flooding through her as they struck a bargain.

Once the agreement was made, Six settled into the chair, his demeanor shifting to one of focus. Arabella cast a quick glance at the door, anxiety gnawing at her. “You need to move fast. If he returns and finds you here, I’ll just tell him you broke in,” she warned, her voice low and urgent.

Six’s fingers danced across the keyboard with practiced ease, but his mouth was equally busy. “If your husband catches me here, I’ll just say you seduced me, that you’re looking to be my sugar mama.” He chuckled, a playful glint in his eye.

Arabella felt her cheeks flush at his words, realizing the absurdity of their situation. She chose silence, knowing there was no point in arguing with him now.

After a brief moment, Six handed the mouse back to her. “There are so many encrypted files. Which one do you want to access?” His tone was serious now, the gravity of their task settling in.

Arabella leaned closer, her eyes scanning the screen until they landed on the initials that sent a chill down her spine—Georgina. “Help me crack this password,” she urged, her heart pounding with anticipation.

Arabella leaned over to view the contents of the file, her heart racing. It was no wonder the Melendez family had kept Daniela’s existence a secret for so long. The file revealed that Daniela had tragically died four years ago.

As she scrolled down, the details became stark. Four years ago, in Brazoria, at the Budburg Ski Resort, a temporary ski lift malfunction had led to an accidental death…

Time was of the essence. Without a moment’s hesitation, Arabella copied the file onto the USB drive, her mind racing with the implications of what she had just uncovered.

Suddenly, her phone rang, the sound slicing through the tense atmosphere like a knife.

Both she and Six froze, guilt washing over them like a cold wave. Six scrambled off the chair, ducking behind Arabella in a comical yet frantic manner.

Startled by his sudden movement, Arabella’s complexion drained of color. She clutched her chest, trying to steady her racing heart as she glanced at the phone on the desk.

Seeing that it was a call from Jayceon, a wave of relief washed over her. It seemed he wouldn’t be returning anytime soon.

Quickly, she had Six shut down the computer and secure the USB drive before she dashed out to take the call.

In the hospital hallway, Jayceon concluded his conversation with Arabella and made his way into the room. After more than an hour of fussing over the child, he finally saw her peacefully asleep on the hospital bed, a serene expression on her face that brought a sense of calm to his troubled heart.
