**Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
By J.S. Caldwell

**Chapter 260**

In the stillness of the night, Victoria found her way back to her room, seeking solace in the quiet embrace of her bed. The events of the day weighed heavily on her mind, but the exhaustion of it all urged her to close her eyes and drift into a much-needed slumber.

Meanwhile, Jayceon stepped into the master bedroom, the air thick with unspoken tension. His gaze fell upon Arabella, who lay sprawled across the expansive bed, her expression as unreadable as the night outside. As he entered, she remained still, her back to him, seemingly lost in her thoughts.

Jayceon hesitated, rooted to the spot beside the bed, his heart pounding against his ribcage. He yearned to bridge the distance between them, to reach out and envelop her in his arms, but his feet felt as though they were encased in concrete, immovable and heavy with dread.

Finally, breaking the silence, Arabella’s voice sliced through the air, devoid of emotion. “Are you going to divorce me or not?” The question hung between them, a challenge and a plea all at once.

Jayceon’s throat constricted as he swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing in a struggle to maintain composure. He forced a smile, though it felt like a mask, a facade that barely concealed the turmoil within. “I won’t,” he managed to say, his voice thick with emotion.

Arabella’s eyes flickered with a mix of disbelief and determination as she reached for her phone, her fingers poised to strike a blow. “If you don’t, then don’t blame me for exposing the truth about your fake son’s parentage!” she warned, her tone sharp and unwavering.

Feeling the weight of her words, Jayceon took two tentative steps forward and settled on the edge of the bed. He grasped her wrist gently, desperation lacing his voice. “Arabella, give me one more chance!”

Arabella’s gaze bore into his, and she pressed him further, “Either we divorce, or I tell your grandfather about Leandro’s parentage. You can choose.”

The air crackled with tension as they locked eyes, each searching for a flicker of understanding. Jayceon searched Arabella’s eyes, trying to convey his sincerity. “Arabella, I know you feel wronged. As long as you don’t divorce me, I won’t stop you from doing anything you want!”

The moment his words faded, Arabella dialed Tabitha’s number, her resolve hardening. Right before Jayceon’s eyes, she divulged the painful truth: Georgina’s child was not Jayceon’s biological son, and she had also shared that she had aborted Jayceon’s child.

Once the call ended, an oppressive silence enveloped the room, thick enough to choke on. Jayceon fought against the sting of tears as he pulled the blanket up to Arabella’s shoulders, a gesture of care that felt hollow in the face of their reality.

Arabella’s gaze remained distant, icy as she regarded him. “Jayceon, I—”

He interrupted her, the urgency in his voice rising. “If you’re about to suggest a separation, you’d better not say it!”
