**Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
**By J.S. Caldwell**
**Chapter 276**

“Jayceon,” Arabella began, her voice steady yet laced with emotion, “the way you yearn for Georgina is precisely how I once longed for you. The depth of my love for you mirrored your feelings for her—whether you choose to acknowledge it or not!”

Jayceon, caught in the intensity of her gaze, gradually relaxed his grip on her arms, the weight of her words pressing down on him.

Looking deeply into Arabella’s eyes, he confessed, “I admit it. When Georgina returned, I felt uncertain. I was mistaken, I can see that now. But I swear, I don’t love her!”

Before he could elaborate further, Arabella interjected, her voice sharp, “Even if you claim you don’t love her, it’s clear you don’t love me either!”

Their eyes locked in a moment thick with unspoken truths. Jayceon’s lips quivered, struggling to form a response, but silence enveloped them like a heavy fog.

He found himself lost in Arabella’s gaze, the weight of her disappointment anchoring him down. It took what felt like an eternity for him to muster his voice once more.

“Arabella, please, just give me one more chance. Allow me to learn how to love you again!” he pleaded, his heart racing with desperation.

Arabella’s expression softened for a fleeting moment, but then her resolve hardened as she replied, “Jayceon, any man could love me, but you? You don’t deserve that love.”

The finality of her words hung in the air, heavy and suffocating.

Even the slightest hesitation on her part felt like a betrayal—not only to her own past suffering but to the child she carried within her.

With a firm push, Arabella distanced herself from Jayceon, her voice unwavering, “From this moment forward, we are officially separated. I will instruct my lawyer to file for divorce. This is something I must do!”

Jayceon met her fierce determination with a pang of anguish that gripped his heart.

With tears welling in his eyes, he clutched his chest, fighting against the storm of emotions threatening to overwhelm him. “I know I was gravely mistaken. I’m willing to agree to a temporary separation, to give you some time to calm down, but please, don’t even entertain the thought of divorce!”

Just then, the ride-hailing car Arabella had summoned arrived, coming to a slow stop at the curb.

She cast a sidelong glance at him, her tone almost casual, “Let’s just separate for now, then.”

No matter what, she was resolute in her decision to pursue the divorce.

As Arabella climbed into the car and it sped away, Jayceon felt a wave of weakness wash over him. He had to lean against a nearby tree for support, the world around him spinning in a blur of despair.

Moments later, Steve hurried over, urgency in his stride. “Mr. Melendez, the surveillance footage shows that Ms. Carrillo left late tonight,” he reported, his voice steady but tinged with concern.

Jayceon, still reeling from the emotional blow, pulled himself together and climbed into the car, his thoughts a chaotic whirlpool of regret and longing.
