Mr Melendez,Your Wife Wants Divorce Long ago novel Chapter 306

**Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
By J.S. Caldwell
**Chapter 306**

Inside the confined space of the kitchen, Arabella’s fists hammered against the door, her voice a mixture of urgency and determination. “Jayceon, you’ve already taken ninety-nine steps for Georgina. There’s just one final step left for you two to reach your happy ending. Trust me, if you simply agree to the divorce, I will do everything in my power to help her. I will even assist you with her hypnosis. You can have as many sessions as you want—I’ll offer you a discount or, if necessary, I can do it for free.”

With a loud clatter, Jayceon yanked the kitchen door open, his expression a blend of frustration and disbelief.

Their eyes locked, and in that charged moment, Jayceon’s voice dripped with menace, each word carefully enunciated, “If you dare to spout any more nonsense, I might as well just strangle you.”

Arabella instinctively raised the apron she held to cover her mouth, the weight of his words settling heavily in the air.

Once Jayceon stormed away, Arabella let out a long, shuddering sigh of relief.

Deep down, she couldn’t shake the feeling that if Georgina’s insomnia truly was as severe as she feared, Jayceon, with all his complexities, would surely feel a pang of sympathy for her.

As long as he held any compassion for Georgina, surely he would relent and agree to the divorce.

Later that afternoon, Arabella departed from Vance Manor earlier than usual, her mind racing with thoughts of her parents. She made a special detour to the bustling seafood market, intent on purchasing Mitten Crabs before heading to her childhood home.

Upon her arrival, a friendly neighbor informed her that her parents were enjoying a leisurely stroll in the community park. With a spring in her step, Arabella set down her bags and made her way to the park, eager to reunite with them.

From a distance, she spotted her parents engaged in animated conversation with a group of elderly men and women, their grandchildren playing nearby.

A warm smile spread across Arabella’s face, and she was about to approach when she overheard a grandmother, cradling her granddaughter, inquire about her parents. “I heard the Palmer family’s daughter is a doctor. How old is she? Is she married?”

Roderick and Kayla exchanged an awkward glance, the weight of the question hanging heavily in the air. Kayla finally replied, “Twenty-six. She was married.”

An older gentleman chimed in, “How old is the child?”

Kayla’s gaze fell to the ground. “She’s busy with work, no kids for now.”

Arabella watched as her parents awkwardly distanced themselves from the crowd, a shadow of discomfort passing over them.

Watching her father walk away with a slumped posture, his back rounded in resignation, and seeing her mother retreat to a secluded corner to wipe away the tears she couldn’t contain, Arabella felt a rush of emotion welling up inside her.

Her vision blurred, and she turned away, her heart aching.

The struggles in her marriage with Jayceon, the pain of her miscarriage—these burdens weighed heavily on her.

Through it all, her parents had stood unwaveringly by her side, offering nothing but support and encouragement. They had never once blamed her, nor had they uttered a single discouraging word.
