Mr Melendez,Your Wife Wants Divorce Long ago novel Chapter 62

**Her Spark Ignites Tonight**
**By J.S. Caldwell**
**Chapter 62**

Georgina’s lips curved into a soft smile, a glimmer of defiance in her eyes. “You know, it was actually Jay who expressed his deep regret about our situation—about me and our son living so far away. He said it was unbearable for him to be apart from us. It was Jay who pleaded with me to bring our son back home.”

Arabella, of course, was well aware of the profound affection Jayceon held for Georgina. Yet, hearing Georgina articulate those feelings struck a chord deep within her, amplifying the pain she had already been grappling with.

Noticing the turmoil etched on Arabella’s face, Georgina continued, her voice tinged with a sympathetic lilt. “Jay told me that he can’t offer you love or children—only the title of Mrs. Melendez. He implored me not to leave him. He’s terrified of divorcing you out of pity, fearing that it would lead to a scene that would be messy for everyone involved.”

Arabella stood there, frozen in place, her heart racing as she fought to maintain her composure. Georgina’s tone was innocuous, but the defiance in her gaze was unmistakable. “We’re both women, Arabella. I don’t want to complicate things for you, but I sincerely hope that for the sake of the child, you’ll make the decision to let Jay go. A child deserves a father, a complete family.”

Arabella took a deep breath, summoning every ounce of strength she had. “If Jayceon loves you both so much, I have every confidence he’ll make it official. There’s really no need for you to rush, Ms. Carrillo.”

With that, Arabella turned on her heel, striding purposefully toward the apartment building, the weight of her words hanging heavily in the air.

But Georgina wasn’t finished yet. She reached out, grabbing Arabella’s arm with a fierce grip. Lowering her voice to a conspiratorial whisper, she said, “Ms. Palmer, what’s the point of clinging to the title of Jay’s wife? He loves me. You’re merely a third wheel in this scenario!”

Arabella felt a surge of anger and desperation as she struggled to free herself from Georgina’s grasp, but Georgina tightened her hold. “The night I returned, I was with Jay. You have no idea how passionate he was with me. He confided that every time he was with you over the years, he was thinking of me.”

In a moment of unrestrained fury, Arabella struck back. “Smack!” The sound echoed in the air as her palm connected sharply with Georgina’s cheek.

Though she was painfully aware of Jayceon’s infidelity, hearing Georgina’s taunts delivered with such audacity pushed her over the edge.

Georgina stumbled back, a cry escaping her lips as she fell to the ground, clutching her face in shock.

Within seconds, Jayceon appeared, rushing to their side. “Georgina!”

He knelt beside her, his expression a mix of concern and anger as he examined the scrape on her leg before gently helping her to her feet.

Georgina, tears streaming down her cheeks, threw herself into Jayceon’s arms, her voice trembling. “Jay, I’m so sorry! I didn’t move fast enough!”

Jayceon’s eyes flickered toward Arabella, a hint of ire simmering beneath the surface. “Arabella, I warned you to leave Georgina alone.”

In a moment of emotional upheaval, Arabella shouted, “If you’re blind to the truth, then maybe you should see a doctor! She knows it, I know it, and God knows I wasn’t the one causing her trouble!”
