I lived in the fishing village for a month.
It wasn’t until Jack and Emma, under aliases Mr. Yu and Ms. Zhong, made the social news that I returned under David’s arrangements.
I didn’t go home directly. David, following the principle of seeing things through to the end, helped me sell all my belongings from the rented house and arranged a new job for me at a branch company in another city.
I changed all my social media accounts and communication numbers.
David asked me when I found out about Jack’s habit of hosting parties.
I lied, saying I discovered it while sorting through items after breaking up with him.
Actually, that wasn’t true. I found out in the second week of dating him.
He had a phone he never parted with. Once, when he couldn’t find it, he went to the office to look for it, irritated, while I waited in the car.
That phone was in the car’s crevice. When I pulled it out, the screen was full of messages about S&M, partner swapping, and so on.
They even recorded videos each time to control those young girls and prevent them from reporting to the police.
Later, I heard him talk on the phone several times about a small island, and he often went there. Before each trip, he would be very excited, and after returning, he would be in high spirits for quite a while.
I had a guess that the island was probably where they gathered.
A group of rich young men with nowhere to vent their desires bought an unnamed small island, built a few guesthouses, and started their
colorful play.
I acted obedient, uninteresting, and very timid in front of Jack, so he was never very interested in me.
