My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 375

"What else can we do? He's laid out his terms, so we have to follow them."

Gary flicked his cigarette out the window and slumped back in his seat with a long sigh.

"If you're at home, go talk to her. If she refuses, I'll handle it when I get back."

"What's the point of me talking to her?" Cherry exclaimed. "She wants to fight every time she sees me! I'm practically hiding from her, and you want me to go seek her out? Are you crazy? Gary, let's just wait for you to get back!"

The thought of talking to Hannah was absurd.

Gary wanted to argue, but then thought better of it. "Fine, we'll deal with it when I get back. Just don't provoke her for now. I've already thought of a way to handle this."

Hearing that Gary had a plan, Cherry felt a wave of relief and waited for him to come home.

Half an hour later, Gary arrived home just as everyone was eating dinner. He washed his hands and joined them at the table.

As soon as Cherry saw him, she shot him an expectant look.

Gary ate a few quick bites of his food before speaking.

"Hannah, Cherry was out of line before. She said some ridiculous things, and I hope you won't hold it against her. I'd like to apologize on her behalf."

Gary looked at Hannah, but her expression was unreadable. He continued, "I know words aren't enough to show my sincerity, so I've booked a table at a five-star hotel tonight. Please, let Cherry treat you to dinner as an apology. What do you think?"

Cherry's eyes lit up as she looked at Gary.

"Hahahaha, great! Don't worry, this place is famous. I guarantee you'll want to go back again!" Gary said excitedly.

Beside them, Samuel almost jumped out of his seat. This was obviously a trap, and he couldn't believe Hannah didn't see it. He turned to her with a worried look.

Hannah just smiled back at him.

After dinner, Samuel impatiently followed Hannah into her room.

"You can tell those two are up to something. Don't you see it?"

Hannah picked up her phone and made a call. "I only agreed because I know they're up to something. Don't worry, I'm not that stupid."
