Not long after Mary went upstairs, she saw that Hannah had posted again and was trending online.
This time, she was much calmer and not as impulsive as she had been before. She didn't even bother sending anyone to take down the trending topic.
After all, even if she managed to suppress it, the Temple family would just find a way to push it back up. It was pointless. Let it trend, she thought, who cares!
When Lionel left the house, he instinctively started driving towards the factory. But then his mother's words came back to him, and he abruptly yanked the steering wheel, making a U-turn back home.
He wasn't needed at the factory or the company anymore, and going abroad was out of the question. He had no idea what to do next. His number was blocked, and trying to see her at the Temple family's home was a lost cause.
Once he got home, he picked up his phone and saw that Hannah had posted new evidence of his affair, which was now trending again.
The truth was, he had only been concerned about Sandra; they had never had any physical relationship.
But no matter how he tried to explain it now, it was useless. He couldn't produce any evidence to support his case. Everything pointed to him being a scumbag who had abandoned Hannah when she needed him most.
Looking at the comments below, Lionel tossed his phone aside, unable to read anymore.
