My Husband's Betrayal My Brothers' Revenge (Rebekah) novel Chapter 125

Candice's voice came through his smartwatch. "Good job, Shawn!"

Shawn smiled, looking at his little hand as he skipped back to his room. "Don't worry, Aunt Candice. I'll be extra nice to Mommy for the next few days. Then, at the school festival, we'll humiliate her. Daddy will have to divorce her, and you can be my real mommy!"

Benjamin entered the study, where Old Mr. Forrester handed him a report.

"The Forrester Group is in a precarious position. You offended an executive at the Powell Group, and now Justin has managed to build a connection with them. If he can help the company through this crisis, I won't hesitate to leave him the rest of my shares."

"Grandfather!" Benjamin cried out, his knuckles white as he gripped the report. It contained a preliminary partnership proposal between the Forrester family and the Powell Group for a new project. If this deal went through, Justin would earn their grandfather's favor. If he also got the shares, his position in the company would surpass Benjamin's.

He couldn't let that happen.

Old Mr. Forrester seemed to favor Benjamin. Seeing his grandson's distress, he sighed and pulled another file from a drawer. "I've seen how much you've done for the company over the years, Benjamin. This is the last time I can help you like this."

Puzzled, Benjamin opened the file. The first thing he saw was the name 'Rebekah.'

"This is…" He looked up at his grandfather, stunned.

Old Mr. Forrester gave him a long, meaningful look. "Now do you understand why I won't let you divorce her? Her background could be of great help to the Forrester family."

Benjamin clutched the file, his expression slowly hardening.

When she came downstairs, Benjamin looked up, and his eyes froze on her, unable to look away. Though she was the mother of a six-year-old, Rebekah's face and figure were flawlessly maintained. She was a natural beauty, and even this simple styling made her look otherworldly.

Rebekah caught his stare and gave him a cool glance. "Let's go."

Benjamin cleared his throat, embarrassed at being caught staring. He stepped forward and gestured for her to take his arm.

Instead, Rebekah lifted the hem of her dress and walked out the door, completely ignoring him.

Surprisingly, Benjamin wasn't angry. He simply assumed she was sulking. Once this was all over, he'd take her on a second honeymoon, win her over, and everything would be fine again.
