My Husband's Betrayal My Brothers' Revenge (Rebekah) novel Chapter 198

"We'll talk about this at home. Get out of here right now," Benjamin commanded, his voice cold. This was his only chance to talk to the Powells; he couldn't let Rebekah ruin it again.

"I'm not here for you," Rebekah said flatly, her eyes filled with impatience.

Benjamin, of course, didn't believe her. "Not here for me?" he sneered. "Rebekah, have you become so shameless you can't even tell the truth anymore?"

Candice chimed in from the side. "Sister, you should learn to be more sensible. The day you forced Benjamin to sign those divorce papers, you should have known you'd come crawling back." She puffed out her chest. "But today, Benjamin really does have something important to do. President Powell will be dining here tonight. As a former brand ambassador for Powell Group, I can help Benjamin secure the partnership with Forrester Group. This is a crucial matter, so you'd best not interfere."

At her words, the look in Benjamin's eyes shifted. The initial awe at her appearance was replaced by disgust for her uselessness. Rebekah had not only sabotaged his deal with Powell Group but also let the opportunity with the Hawthornes slip through his fingers. She was a complete liability.

Candice, on the other hand, was beautiful, kind, and successful. She could actually help him. The more he thought about it, the colder his gaze became.

"If you don't want this divorce to be final, then get out of my sight now!" he snapped, his tone harsh.

Rebekah felt a surge of anger. "I already told you, I'm here to meet someone. It has nothing to do with you."

"Meet someone?" Candice scoffed. "Don't tell me it's that driver from the Hawthorne family." She laughed mockingly. "A driver for the Hawthornes could never afford to eat at The Verdant Bistro. Do you really think this place lets just anyone in?"

Benjamin couldn't stand to look at her anymore. "Your lies are getting more and more elaborate," he said, his voice dripping with contempt. "Haven't you embarrassed yourself enough? You think you and that lowly driver could ever afford a meal here?"

Benjamin's own eyes were red with fury as he stared back at her. "Rebekah, do not test my patience! You will leave this place today, or I will make you!"

He shoved her away and called over a server. "Get this woman out of here!"

The server looked at Benjamin hesitantly. "Mr. Forrester, we can't just throw a guest out."

Benjamin's icy gaze shot toward the server, his natural authority making the young woman tremble. "She is my wife, and she is here to cause a scene. If anything happens to this restaurant tonight, can you take responsibility for it?"

The server silently scorned him. It was obvious he treated his wife like an enemy.
