Once we are done the only things left in the room is the furniture and our bags, everything else is in the moving truck and on it’s way to White Mountain Pack. We take a shower that last longer than we had anticipated and it has everything to do with our Little Mate, not that we would ever deny her.

Everyone we pass along the way to the Auditorium stares at Umayza, but it is as if she doesn’t notice any of the stares and Conri and I just smile. Malik has joined the others at the table and his eyes widen as he see Umayza’s baby bump, but Umayza doesn’t seem to notice it.

“Little One, where is that mind of yours at?” I ask her through the mind–link and she nearly jumps out of her skin as I scare the shit out of her. Conri is fast enough to catch her as she loses her balance, I cup her face as I apologize for scaring her and all she does is laugh.

Conri places her in one of the chairs as I get the three of us something to eat, when I get back to the table she is able to tell me where her thoughts had gone. “Ynanna linked me to tell me that she and Kealan are expecting their first Pup and when I told her we were expecting three she just had to tell Kealan, which made him tumble down the stairs.” She says.

We chuckle as we imagine Kealan tumbling down the stairs and the rest of dinner is spend with reminiscing some of the stupid things that happened to us. We excuse ourselves pretty early, because we want Umayza to get a good night’s rest before the trial starts.

Conri holds her in his arms as we walk back to our room and her breathing evens out before we step inside the room, we quietly take her clothes of to get her in Conri’s shirt. I stay with her as Conri goes to take a shower, before we switch places and we both snuggle up against her to drift off to sleep.

I woke up in the early morning hours to find my Brother and our Little Mate still fast asleep, but I had been unable to get back to sleep and I just stare at the female in my arms. My hand slowly running circles on her belly, smiling as I think about the three Pups growing inside her.

-My Brother is the first to wake up and just one look at me shows him that I have been awake for hours, “I thought our Little Mate would be the one awake at the break of dawn.” He says and I tell him that I am probably more nervous about the trial than our Mate.

“I know she has done many assignments for the Council, but she has never been asked to testify in a trial and this will mean that everyone will know what she is capable of. I think that that is what scares me the most.” I confess to my Brother and I know he shares my fear.

“Okay, who the hell stole your breakfast?” Umayza asks and for a moment I see Theron arguing with his Lycan. He turns to Umayza to answer her question, but she holds up her hand to stop him from explaining himself, “You are not allowed to stay anywhere near me during the trial. She says and he opens and closes his mouth a few times before he just nods his head.

“Don’t worry, Theron. Armas already made sure all of you will be in the Courthouse, he needs you all to keep an eye on Roger, Talon and Ayden and that means you will all be close by.” She says and I see relief wash over his face, we all know he considers her as a little Sister.

We are the only family Theron has and from the moment he met Umayza she became the little Sister he never had. He gave us both an earful when he found out what we had done, but he made sure to do it without her present and I can guarantee you he took it easy on us.

I know that Umayza is safe as long as one of us is around, but if it comes down to it Theron will lay down his life for her and us. He doesn’t like it either that she will have to testify in the trial, but like us he knows there is no other way for them to be brought to justice and for everyone to know what they are responsible for.

This will be the last part of their trial, Talon has had his trials on most of the charges brought against him and every time he tried to act as if he had been a dotting Father. At his first trial he had even tried to hide behind the fact that he was the Father of Princess Taliyah, but when Representative Fabian had asked her about it she had told everyone she stopped considering him her Father the day her Mother died.

The trials involving Ayden are already done and the only reason he will be sitting in on this trial is to make sure he knows who were responsible for the death of his Mate, to make sure his family understands why his Wolf lost it. For Roger this is also the last of his trials and everyone knows that even without this trial his sentence will be death, hell all of them will receive the death penalty.

Aziza and Ragnar had been there during one of his trials as they had to testify and he never showed any remorse for what he had put his family through. Not once did he use his Father and what he did to his own Daughter up as an excuse and I truly believe that he has given up.

Their representatives are known to be sharks, but Princess Taliyah had already shown that even sharks can be dealt with and she did it in the most amazing way. I just hope that Umayza will be able to control her emotions during this trial, but she doesn’t know how she will respond.

She is determined to testify in this trial and she said if it meant crying in front of everyone than she would accept that, she just wanted everyone to know what happened five years ago. She wants to proof that she is nothing like her family, that she will use her gift for the benefit of others and never to gain money from it.

We make our way up to the Courthouse after we had breakfast and Umayza had been right when Armand informed us of our assignment for the duration of this trial. We will be in the Courthouse making sure none of the accused get out of line or try to attack anyone.
