Chapter 570 My Life

I see the female’s angry face before I realize it is aimed at my Mate and I pull her into my arms as Evander steps next to me. We hear Callen tell her what happened, but it seems that she doesn’t believe him completely. That all changes when Theron confirms what he had said and she walks into his arms.

Our Little Mate is really impressed with the female and when we hear her laugh I think she has really lost her mind, but when she explains why she is laughing Kane agrees with her immediately. “We would have lunged at the male instead of walking over to them.” He says and I guess he is right.

After a few minutes Callen takes Lyla with him to their cottage and I see a strange look on Theron’s face, “Don’t worry, he will protect her with his life and she will do the same for him.” Alexia says as she crawls into his lap. “Besides, you will be too busy to worry about your Sister.”

We all look at them as she grabs his hand and places it on her belly with a smile on her face. I can guarantee you that I have only seen Theron at a loss for words once before and that was the day he found out that she was his fated Mate, he just smiles at her as he rubs her belly.

Slowly but steadily every Pack–member heads home, our guests that didn’t find their fated Mate walk into the Pack–house and once everyone is gone we help Ma with cleaning up some of the mess. Tables and chairs can wait until tomorrow, but everything that is eatable needs to be put away and soon Ma ushers us all towards home.

Evander and I have our Mate right between us and I smile as I see her yawn, it is way past her bedtime but try making her understand that. She just doesn’t want to be the one to end a pleasant evening, but with the triplets growing she gets tired easily and she needs her rest.

I kiss her on the top of her head as we turn onto the small road that leads to our cottage and along the way we say goodnight to some of the others as we pass their homes. Theron and Alexia walk with us all the way to our cottage before they turn left to head to their own cottage and for those that know the park we stayed in during our assignment will see immediately that we did the same here.

Not because we fear someone might come after our Little Mate, but it is better to be safe than it is to be ‘sorry and I like the idea that help is always nearby. Evander lifts Umayza in his arms as we reach the front porch and she snuggles into his chest, she will be asleep before we get to our bedroom.

After I put our Little Mate down on our bed I take her clothes of before I pull one of our shirts over her -head, I still don’t completely understand why we do it and truth be told I don’t give a crap. I like the idea of

her sleeping in a shirt that smells like on of us and so far she hasn’t complained about it.

Conri crawls into bed with her as I make my way over to the bathroom and when I get back both of them are fast asleep. I take the opportunity to sneak into the nursery and I am still in awe, just like the first time I had walked in here after we came back from the Academy.‘

I sit down in one of the glider–chairs as I look at the three cribs in front of me, I smile as I see Wolf heads peaking around the window frames and I know there are a few other animal heads peaking around furniture throughout the room. On the windowsills there are paw prints and even a few on the furniture, our Little Mate knew exactly what she wanted for our Pups nursery.

The most amazing part of the room is the fake window above the changing table, it holds the same view Conri and I grew up with and I know exactly who made that painting come to life. It had been the first thing Conri and I had noticed when we walked in here and it still amazes me every single day.

Chapter 570 My Life

All my

friends found their fated Mate and like me and Conri they will learn that it is the most amazing thing in the world. Something you will be willing to die for if you have to, something that will annoy the hell out of you from time to time and it keeps you asking yourself how you have ever lived without it

Our lives go the way they are supposed to go, to get us to the place where we need to be and in most cases to find the life that we deserve. I know not everyone gets what I have, but I hope most will find in life what I found with Umayza and I will love her for as long as I am still breathing.

I finally crawl into bed with my family after one more look around the nursery and Umayza sighs in her sleep the moment I place my hand on her belly, I smile as I place my head near her head to slowly drift off to sleep.

Umayza

I slowly open my eyes to the best feeling ever, I feel happy and content between my Mates and I always enjoy these moments if I am the first one to wake up. After a few moments I have to get out of bed, because one of the Pups decides to stomp on my bladder and I slowly try to get out of my Mates‘ arms.

“Where do you think you are going, Little One.” Evander growls and when I tell him I have to pee he helps me up to go to the bathroom. I decide to get ready for the day and turn on the shower before I take of my shirt, it doesn’t take me long to get showered. It surprises me that neither one of my Mates stepped in the shower, like they normally do.

Once I am done in the bathroom I walk into the bedroom to get dressed and I smile as I watch my Mates fast asleep in each other’s arms, I quickly grab my phone to snap a picture. I put on one of my new pants with another shirt I bought during our shopping trip, the text covering my belly reads “Pups loading…please wait.”

I sit down in the armchair near the window and I grab my phone to change the background picture to the one I just took. I smile as I let my mind wander and I am happy with everything I have in my life. My Mates by my side, my family close by and the best group of friends I could have asked for.

Our cottage is finished with everything the way I want it, not quite what I dreamt of but then again I never thought I would have this kind of life. I always figured I would be stuck in my old Pack with a Mate that wasn’t my fated Mate and being forced to carry the Pups of a male I didn’t want in my life.

I remember Dad once told me that if he could have done things differently he would have, but I think Orion had been right when he said I might not have ended up where I am today if something had gone differently. I live in a Pack that cares about others, they kept my secret and they all look out for me.

Border patrol is always on the look out for anyone snooping around, it doesn’t always mean they are here for me and I may not always hear about everyone snooping around. I know they will keep anyone outside the borders to protect me and my Pups, just like every Squad does that settled in the territory.

I am glad all my friends found their fated Mate and unlike some I wasn’t surprised to see Yonatan, Boris and Axel mated to a male, they never said it out loud but I knew. It was obvious that Roan and two of his friends would get mated to males too, but I hadn’t figured it would be to the males in my protection detail.

friends, After Lilith had found out she was safe here Roan spend more time with us and I consider them my just as they consider me a friend. Movement from the bed pulls me from my thoughts and I turn my attention to my Mates to see what will happen when they open their eyes.

Both open their eyes at the same time and they move so quickly away from the other that they get tangled in the sheets, both of them sliding of a side of the bed. With their legs tangled in the sheets they both end up with their head on the floor and their legs still on the bed, “Don’t you dare laugh, Little One. Conri growls.

I slowly get up as they try to get free from the sheets, but it seems they are just pulling the sheets tighter around their legs and I try my best not to laugh at the situation. Unfortunately both of them hitting their head on the floor at the same time sends me of the deep end and I am rolling in the aisles while they try to look angry at me.
