York didn't say a word. He simply placed the divorce certificate he'd brought with him on the coffee table.

"Dad, Mom, Grandpa," he announced, "Claudia and I are divorced."

York rose wearily. "I just came to let you know. I'm heading back now."

He turned and walked out of the living room.
