Celia hadn't realized Claudia was on the phone with her grandmother.

In a panic, she lunged forward, shoved Claudia hard, and tried to snatch the phone.

She had mostly turned a blind eye to Ann's provocations.

Unless absolutely necessary, she couldn't even be bothered to expose her.

But this Celia had spent too much time with Ann and seemed to think she was a pushover too.

Celia stared at Claudia's retreating back, gritting her teeth. "You bitch. You dare to set me up? Just you wait!"

That evening, instead of a new phone from Celia, a car from the Shaw family arrived for Claudia.
