The sun shone on the ground in July, and the surface became very hot, almost as if it could start burning.

I turned around feeling confident and entered the elevator, holding my head high and straightening my back.

Caitlyn quickly threw the cigarette butt into the trash and stood up, her perfect figure shown in a white suit.

Her face was filled with arrogance and disdain as she looked at me.”Ms. Perez, you’re pushing it a bit. Do you really think you still have the same influence in the company as before?”

I smiled slightly, “I only know this company was founded by my parents, and I am the legal heir here. Although I signed a transfer contract, it hasn’t gone through legal procedures and is not yet effective.

After I finished speaking, I glanced at the chair Caitlyn had sat on and said coldly,”Get a new chair. I’m not comfortable with chairs that strange women have used. Everyone, let’s meet in the conference room in five minutes.”
