I returned to the Blackwood Ancestral Manor in the afternoon Grace Burton and several manor servants were

waiting for me outside the Manor Courtyard, nodding and smiling.

“Luna, the Elder Matriarch and Lady Blackwood are both in the Great Hall,” Grace said warmly.

I nodded and followed them through the familiar corridors. The weight of the supposed pregnancy news

hung heavy on my shoulders.
