In this situation, the fact that Nadine was willing to offer such a tempting condition meant she had to have ulterior motives.
With a cold snort, Brad tightened his grip on her wrist and retorted sarcastically, "Since when did you become so willing to compromise? This isn't like you at all. For a tiny person like you, you're really big-headed. For you to give in so easily, there must be some hidden agenda. Spill it."
Brad hated this feeling. He desperately wanted to get close to Nadine, yet she always looked at him with disgust and disdain. Every time he saw that look in her eyes, he wanted nothing more than to beat her senseless.
If Nadine kept looking at him with that hateful expression, he'd pin her down on the bed and deal with her properly.
Nadine wasn't as strong as Brad, so she couldn't fight back. No matter how much she struggled to free her wrist, she couldn't break free. She had no choice but to face the harsh reality.
First, Nadine would play along, acting obedient and submissive. Once Brad let down his guard, she'd run away as fast as she could.
At that moment, running away was the only option. She wasn't going to stick around and let him bully her. Only a fool would follow his every whim.
Just as Nadine's mind was racing, calculating her escape, she heard what Brad said. He had seen right through her intentions.
Damn it! Nadine couldn't believe Brad saw through her plan. She was furious.
Nadine had no choice but to maintain her composure. She bit the inside of her cheek as she responded, "Whatever. I'm giving you the chance. If you don't want to, then forget it. We don't have to follow each other on Instagram."
Then, in a barely audible mumble, she added, "You're really ungrateful. Who even wants to add you?"
Resigned, Nadine made her way to the locker room. She stalled as she pulled out her phone, unblocked Brad, and sent him some of the photos Jean had given her.
But Nadine didn't send all the photos. She only chose the more explicit ones. While Brad was distracted, examining the photos carefully, she swiftly hid the folder containing the rest.
Acting nonchalant, Nadine put her phone away and looked at Brad, who was still gripping her wrist. "Mr. Hamilton, I've sent you all the photos. Can you let me go now? You've already wasted enough of my time, and I need to get to work," Nadine said.
In her mind, she was questioning Brad's sanity. Why was he constantly clinging to her? What was he? Some kind of persistent vine?
Brad quickly skimmed through the photos as he frowned. He cast a cold glance at Nadine and asked, "These photos are photoshopped, aren't they?"
