Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 682

Brad hurriedly slipped on his pants and was prepared to chase after Nadine, but his heart started to beat erratically.

Before he could button up his shirt, he collapsed to the ground. The sudden twist of events left everyone in the room completely stunned—especially Adam. He hadn't expected things to escalate this way. Adam's already fragile heart couldn't take the strain any longer and finally gave out.

Everyone's attention was focused on the screen, so no one even noticed that something was wrong with Adam. His movements slowed down, and half a minute later, he toppled out of his chair, bringing everything around him down with him.

When Daniel noticed this, he could no longer pay attention to Jean. He immediately called the doctor to treat Adam. Luckily, one of the specialists he had called over was a cardiovascular expert, who rushed to Adam's side to administer first aid. Meanwhile, someone nearby was calling for emergency services.

The commotion outside startled Travis, who had been in the playroom the whole time. He told Sean to stay inside and play on his own for a while, promising to come back in soon. But as soon as he opened the door, he was greeted by the sight of Brad, unconscious and sprawled on the carpet.

Startled, he yelled, "Someone call 911! Mr. Brad has collapsed!"

Fortunately, the specialist who was attending to Adam was still there. He instructed the Hamilton family's bodyguards to carry Brad downstairs and lay him on the ground, so he could help both Adam and Brad.

As for Daniel, he couldn't afford to focus on anything else. He dismissed all of the guests, hopped into the ambulance, and rushed his two loved ones to the hospital. At that moment, his hatred for Jean and Evelyn peaked.

After arriving at the hospital and waiting outside the emergency bay, Daniel repeatedly ordered his bodyguards to keep a close eye on the two women. Once Adam's and Brad's condition stabilized, he'd deal with them.

Hence, when she met Jean at dinner that night, she didn't utter a single word. She was simply waiting for this moment. Since it was so difficult to get Brad to agree to the divorce, she decided to go all in and disregard both her dignity and reputation.

Once the forensic team finished collecting the samples, Nadine pulled out the bottle of perfume that Jean had sprayed into the air and handed it to the female examiner. "I got this from Brad. His fingerprints are on it."

The examiner glanced at the unusually calm woman, puzzled. "You were drugged… How'd you even remember to grab that?"

Nadine didn't respond. She just smiled at her and turned to leave. As she walked out of the forensic department, she felt an overwhelming sense of relief. Maybe this time, her wish would finally come true.
