Tang Yue came out of the room and saw Si Yu on the phone.
Listening to the call, it seemed like he was asking if dementia can be cured.
Tang Yue looked at his back, quietly walked up to him, wrapped her arms around his waist, and rested her cheek against his back.
"Xiao Yue, don’t worry, I’ve already contacted the doctors in Jing City. Although there hasn’t been a case that was completely cured, everyone’s condition is different, maybe, we can cure aunt," Si Yu said, covering her hands with his large ones. Her hands were a bit cold, he then turned around and carried her back into the room.
He handed her the prepared foot-soaking water and said, "Soak your feet, it’ll feel comfortable."
Si Yu squatted down and began to help her take off her socks.
"No, let me do it myself," Tang Yue felt uneasy.
Si Yu smiled, not letting go of her feet, he took off her socks without disgust, looked at her feet for a moment, and then said, "Xiao Yue, your feet are very pretty."
"Nonsense, feet are just for walking, what’s so pretty about them." Tang Yue placed her feet in the basin, then said, "Si Yu, you’ve also been tired all day, hurry and soak your feet too."
"Okay."
Si Yu joined her in the same basin, his large feet making Tang Yue’s look very delicate.
"Xiao Yue, don’t worry about aunt’s matter," Si Yu had just started to speak when Tang Yue quickly admitted her fault, "Husband, I’ll admit my mistake."
"Hmm?" Si Yu looked at her, puzzled.
Tang Yue leaned forward and whispered a few words in his ear. Si Yu’s expression changed repeatedly, he lowered his voice and asked by her ear, "So, your crying at the hospital was fake?"
"Yes."
Tang Yue nodded, thinking about how she looked today at the hospital, it really seemed a bit embarrassing, she said, "If I hadn’t acted convincingly, how would Gu Chun have been fooled?"
"You!"
Si Yu had a lot to say, but seeing Tang Yue’s innocent face, he ended up saying nothing.
Thinking about her teary appearance in the hospital still made him feel heartache.
Who would have thought, she now tells him, it was all fake.
"Husband, don’t be angry, I didn’t mean to keep it from you," Tang Yue moved closer, sweetly admitting her fault, "Husband, I, I just didn’t have the chance to collude with you, so..."
Tang Yue felt more and more guilty.
Actually, this was partly because there was no time to collude, and also, she thought that if Si Yu didn’t know, he could act more convincingly.
"Next time, don’t keep it from me," Si Yu said through gritted teeth, then bowed his head and kissed those lips he had longed for.
Tang Yue, kissed dizzy, suddenly remembered that her feet were still not wiped.
"My feet, they’re still not wiped."
Si Yu let her go, quickly wiped both of their feet, poured the water aside, then pinned her down on the bed.
"Aunt is in the guest room," Tang Yue felt a bit nervous, she had finally slept well last night, and felt somehow that today’s Si Yu was a bit scary...
"There’s a living room in between."
Si Yu quickly stripped off their clothes and was just about to get to the main part when Tang Yue, pushing against his chest, asked, "Where are your briefs?"
"I didn’t buy any," Si Yu stated matter-of-factly.
Lian Tong didn’t even blink, her gaze still vacant.
Gu Chun’s eyes instantly reddened. He trembled as he approached, having witnessed everything yesterday and secretly watched over Lian Tong at night.
But seeing Lian Tong feeding herself today, making a mess, made Gu Chun’s heart ache.
"Tongtong, how could you..." Gu Chun’s voice trembled, he carefully walked forward, raised his hand but couldn’t bring himself to touch her. Tears unknowingly fell as he whispered, "I, ultimately, am the cause of your misery, Tongtong, I wish for your lifelong happiness, for you to always smile like flowers, not like now, like a puppet."
Gu Chun’s voice seemed supremely suppressed, he lowered his gaze allowing tears to flow freely.
He didn’t notice that Lian Tong’s eyes also reddened. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
"Tongtong." Gu Chun climbed through the window, squatted in front of Lian Tong, his hand resting on hers, saying, "Tongtong, you must get better. I love to see your smile, love to see the confident look in your eyes."
"Who?"
Tang Yue suddenly walked in.
Gu Chun couldn’t avoid it in time; he wiped his tears and stood up.
"What are you doing here, Gu Chun?" Tang Yue looked displeased, pointing at Lian Tong, "My aunt has been destroyed by you. If you don’t love my aunt, you should just decisively let go and clear things up with her. Now, you’ve driven my aunt to insanity."
"Auntie."
Tang Yue hugged Lian Tong, fearing that Lian Tong might show any expression that Gu Chun could perceive, deliberately blocking his view, holding onto Lian Tong, she choked up and said, "Auntie, you’re so pitiful. Gu Chun is finally here, and you don’t even know. Auntie, Grandma Gu was right, is he really worth it for such a man?"
"Tang Yue, I, I..." Gu Chun began.
Tang Yue turned around, her eyes red with accusation, "Gu Chun, if you were a man, you wouldn’t have destroyed my aunt like this."
