The username sounded familiar for some reason, eh. It tingled some part of her brain but before Ella could grasp onto what it was, her gaze landed on the replies.

Ella blinked.

"Look at her captions. Shameless woman."

Ella’s fingers froze mid-scroll. This... She actually got herself a supporter without doing anything?

Ella had expected the hate-flood to continue for some more time.

After a brief pause, she kept reading.

"I feel like Ella Yu’s eyes scream ’Try hard’ because she really tries too hard all the time *lol emoji*"

The corner of Ella’s lips twitched.

She stared at the handle again. @theonlysuninhersky.

Something about it made her pause.

She refreshed the page.

Ella let out a startled laugh before slapping a hand over her mouth.

Who was this?

She checked for the profile picture but it was empty and there were no posts in the account as well.

The replies were way too precise. No emojis. No fluff. Just direct assassination.

Another hater popped up:

"Thinks she’s some goddess."

Ella’s followers also seemed to have noticed this person by now.

"I might not be coming back tonight," Esther added and the smile on Violet’s face froze.

After Esther left, Violet stood there in a daze for some time before she let out a bitter smile.

Her phone rang at this moment. Answering the call, she turned around and walked past Ella’s room and walked towards the other end of the hallway.

"I am doing several part time jobs so I will try to earn the money for this semester... A job...? I told you before, Papa, I am preparing for the auditions of this drama... If I get a role in it, money won’t be a problem..."

As she reached her room door, Violet paused. There was a note stuck to the door, "Papa, I will call you later..."
