"So, you want us to sell all the things?" The older woman asked, looking at the huge living room that was filled with luxury products.
"What you have to do is pack them and send them over to the addresses of the customers," Ella replied.
"But there are so many of these... How can we keep track of it?" While the job seemed easier than what they previously did, it also confused them.
Ella pulled out her phone and after a little fiddling, she turned it towards them.
’’Here."
The ladies were stunned, "This..."
"This... This is a shopping website...?"
"Not quite," Ella turned her phone around and glanced at the page that had empty slots, "One of you needs to click pictures of all the things here, one by one, and upload them in these slots with their names and prices."
"But... we don’t know these brands and their prices..." The older woman said.
Both the women looked at each other, a little helpless.
"I will help with that," Ella said thoughtfully.
For this matter, she needed to talk to Adrian. But, she doubted what he would think.
"Miss Yu... Miss Yu?"
Ella snapped out of her daze, "Oh yes, what comes next is the selling part..."
By the time Ella finished explaining the entire process to the ladies, both of them looked a little more confident than before.
The younger woman who had been quiet most of the time till this point suddenly spoke, "Miss Yu, this job involves big money..." She looked around at all the designer stuff stored in the living room, "Why would you trust us alone with these?"
"To some extent, I trust you since you were brought in by someone I have known for a long time. And doing a business together also requires a basic amount of trust but..."
Both the ladies looked at her and Ella paused.
"I will naturally have my people around to guide the process as well."
In fact, Ella already had someone in mind.
But once again, she needed to talk to Adrian about it.
Ella sighed and slumped on the couch. The big devil was terribly busy with his work. Would he entertain her requests when he did not even respond to her texts?
Fine, they were quite gushy-mushy and sickeningly clingy and disgusting to some extent... *cough* Still, did they deserve his cold shoulder?
"Miss Yu, erm... about..."
Ella lifted her gaze, "You will get 10% of each product that you sell."
Both the women hesitated and looked at each other.
"Erm... Miss Yu, how much would 10% be approximately?"
"For some of these things, 10% would be either more or less but on an average..." Ella raised a few fingers.
"In... In hundreds?" Their eyes bulged out all at once.
Ella shook her head.
"T-t-thousands?"
Ella remained silent.
"I-I-It couldn’t be..."
"Ten thousand."
...
By the time Ella set out for her dormitory, it was past 8 pm.
Slumped on the backseat of a cab, she went through the website that she had roughly set up before by following online guidelines and the ’golden knowledge’ from her previous life.
The initially empty slots were filled with clean pictures of all the things she wanted to sell.
She never expected the ladies to be so over-enthusiastic that they wanted to start working right away. She stayed back to help them out but they took things into their own hands.
After going through it briefly, Ella fiddled around her phone till her fingers hovered above Adrian’s number.
But after giving it a thought, she switched to their chats.
And there she saw her last text that was left on ’seen’ without any reply.
Ella: "_"
"I know you were disappointed in me when I couldn’t get Ella’s account..." The man spoke the moment they broke the kiss, "But later, you said you will spend some time with me after I spread the word about Jenny in the university forums. I did it, what after that? You just went on a date with Boss!"
"I..."
"Don’t bother explaining anything to me. Do you think I don’t see those hickeys on your neck huh?"
