The moment our lips met, it was as if a match had ignited in a room saturated with gasoline fumes. A rush of heat enveloped me, flames licking at my skin and curling around us, wrapping us in a fiery embrace.

When I finally drew back, my mouth felt singed, as if I had crossed an invisible boundary that could never be uncrossed. The door I had just opened should have remained firmly shut, locked away like a secret too dangerous to share.
