Regret Came Too Late (Grace and Ethan) novel Chapter 454

Liam didn't find what Andrea said weird, so he just continued staring at Jasper blankly.

Jasper noticed and looked in Liam's direction while giving Grace a smile.

The two continued their conversation, then stood up and walked out of the hospital.

You would think they were real siblings.

Liam drew shut the curtains to his ward and slowly returned to sit by the bed.

Andrea had left at this point. She had gone downstairs to call Joanne to ask what her plans were.

She had previously threatened Joanne that if she didn't help Andrea find a way to get rid of Grace, she would immediately throw Joanne under the bus.

Joanne was calm but direct.

"Andrea, tomorrow's Christmas Eve. I'll ask Grace who she's going to have dinner with. She'll either look for Liam or be with her mysterious boyfriend. Do you know what's the most effective method of destroying a woman?"

Andrea had no idea and frowned. "If you have something to say, just say it."

Joanne's eyes were full of hatred, her grip on her phone tight.

"If Grace is going to meet up with her boyfriend, then she would have to drive herself. All the arrangements I've made have failed, but I at least have some experience now. This time, you'll use Liam's phone to send her a text, saying that you know about her true identity and that you want to talk."

Joanne, of course, fabricated this "excuse". All she wanted was to lure Grace out.

But Andrea was not as smart and took it seriously, and her voice became shrill.

"What?! What true identity?! Is she not related to the Lamberts by blood? Then what claim does she have to the Lambert family's assets? Everything should belong to Liam! That bitch! Let's make her life a miserable hell."

Joanne didn't expect Andrea to be so easily provoked by her lie. She was amused by how easy it was to manipulate Andrea.
