Nobody said a word. Dylan, who was on his knees, looked extremely upset.

"Grandpa, Uncle Andrew has been oppressed by Uncle Ethan all his life, and he's now being framed by Uncle Ethan in broad daylight. Are we all just gonna sit back and watch? Does that mean Uncle Ethan is the only one who gets to call the shots in our family from now on?

"He gets to kill anyone arbitrarily and the rest of us are just going to have to live our lives walking on eggshells under his dictatorship?"

These were heavy words, and they effectively trampled on everyone's dignity—including Jordan's.

Dylan went all out tonight, even getting down on his knees to beg Jordan.

The way Ethan was laidback about this made the others feel unsettled instead. It was as if everything was going according to his plan.

Someone from the Henderson family had gone out to look for Jodie. However, they were told that Jodie was already on the plane.

Jordan's men were one step too late.

When they heard about the news, Jordan fixed a deep gaze on Ethan. He pursed his lips for a brief moment before he spoke solemnly.

"Within half a month, the Henderson family will hold a wedding for you. I'll put out the message tonight and have the other families send us the contact details of their unmarried daughters. I'll be the one to pick from the list."

Jordan had just finished speaking when Dylan, who was still kneeling on the floor, cried out in frustration, "Grandpa!"
