"Can someone just tell me what is going on?" Tao asked while trying to restrain his alpha. He glared at the witch, wanting to understand her reasons before jumping the gun. He did not think that the witch suddenly got all excited and jumped on Dominic, but the fact remained that she kissed him, and that too without asking him. Something that Dominic would never appreciate. Not unless the woman was a platinum blonde with pretty green eyes and called Inez.
Something that might never even have happened.
"Wait," Veronica said in a shuddering voice. She glanced at the sky once again as if she were worried that thunder was about to strike her at any second. Tracy, on the other hand, wasn’t even looking at them. Her face was thrown back, and with her eyes squinting, she was looking at the sky with a frown on her face. Could someone, for the love of god, tell them what she was even looking at?
The enchanting woman brought her head down; her eyes were still narrowed as if she was looking at something that could not be seen but was very much present. She looked around the shack before snapping her fingers, and the old bead curtains closed shut. They might have blocked whatever energy that was peering inside because Tracy looked satisfied.
She would look even more satisfied with his length stuffed deep in her. Was that too forward? But there was no denying the truth. It was going to happen, and it was going to happen very soon. How she did not know, but it was going to happen. Finn was not sure how he was even going to do it, but he just knew that he was going to make it happen one way or the other. Because that was the only way he could get one of the shittiest memories out of his motherfucking mind.
And then he would show her how to move that tongue around in a much better way—
Damn. goddamn. What was he even doing? He just told himself that he was not going to go down this lane again. And yet here he was parked right in the middle of the very street which he never intended to take. And to make things even more complicated, there was a bloody corpse lying right next to his feet.
There had to be a much better time for this than this.
Dominic was still growling, working against the restraints that Tao had on him. He was staring at Tracy as if she were dead to him and dead to the world. He looked dead serious while eyeing the witch as if he were calculating his next move.
Finn leaned down close to Dominic’s ear and whispered in a soft voice, "You better calm down, Hercules."
"You want me to calm down?" Dominic turned to look at the man with a look that was deadly enough to kill. His eyes were burning with sheer rage as he stared at Finn. "Did you not see what she did to me?"
"Easy there, my dude."
The raging anger and jealousy in his heart didn’t fade. It didn’t go away —he still wanted to punch the man in the face so hard that at least three of his teeth would pop out at once—but seeing how angry he looked from the very fact that Tracy had kissed him, he was not going to become his rival. Not even in the slightest.
