Revenge amnesia upgraded to his brother novel Chapter 26

Chapter 26

Once we were back inside the apartment, Lucien gently helped me settle onto the couch. He reached for the first aid kit, then knelt down beside me, carefully rolling up my sleeve to tend to the scrape on my arm. His touch was precise and tender as he cleaned the wound.

The sharp sting of the disinfectant made me inhale suddenly, a quick, involuntary gasp escaping my lips. Lucien’s hand softened, and he leaned closer, blowing lightly over the injured skin. The warmth of his breath sent an unexpected shiver racing through me, tickling my nerves.

I lowered my eyes to meet his, and he returned my gaze with a quiet intensity. In that moment, flashes of everything we had just been through flooded my mind—the reckless race, Damian’s shameless trickery, Mrs. Clémentine’s approving smile, and the raw fear and concern shining in Lucien’s eyes.

Without thinking, I leaned forward and pressed my lips to his.

Lucien’s body stiffened briefly, surprised, but then he wrapped an arm tightly around my waist, pulling me close with a fierce hunger. His kiss deepened, passionate and urgent, as if he wanted to consume me whole.

He bit my lower lip gently, a low growl rumbling in his throat. “You’re crazy, do you realize how dangerous that was?” he murmured, his voice rough with emotion.

Before he could say more, I silenced him with another kiss.

Suddenly, he stood, lifting me effortlessly into his arms. Clothes slipped away as he carried me toward the bedroom, the air thick with anticipation and heat. He laid me down on the bed, his body pressing firmly against mine as he stared into my eyes.

“Norah,” he said softly, voice serious, “have you really thought this through? This isn’t a game.”

His voice cracked as he continued, fear and vulnerability laying bare in his expression. “When you charged at that wild horse, I thought—” He swallowed hard. “Forget the game. Forget Damian and revenge. None of that matters. I just want you. I love you. Not because you were his woman, not because of anything else—just because you are you.”

I held his gaze, feeling the fire burning there. Without hesitation, I reached up, pulling his head down to mine and deepening the kiss.

“I love you too, Lucien,” I whispered.

Suddenly, Lucien leaned down, and the soft, warm pressure of his lips pressed against mine in a wet, tender kiss.

“Ah…!” I gasped, my fingers tangling in his hair as a wave of sensation rolled through me. “Lucien… what are you… doing… mmm…”

He didn’t answer, only pressed his body closer, his lips and tongue exploring me with a heat that made me tremble. His tongue traced delicate circles, moving lower, sliding along my slick skin.

“Lucien… not there…” I whispered, voice trembling, but my body betrayed me, spreading wider, hips lifting instinctively toward him. “Ugh… this is… dirty…”

He smiled against my skin. “Not dirty, Norah. Every part of you is pure.”

His head dipped lower, his mouth capturing me, teasing my most sensitive spot with gentle flicks of his tongue. I shivered uncontrollably, biting my lip as pleasure built inside me.

“Ah! Don’t bite…” I pleaded, trying to pull away, but his hand caught my wrist, holding it firmly to the bed.

His tongue moved rhythmically, in and out, as if making love with his mouth. My body trembled, waves of warmth spilling over me until I was shaking, unable to hold back.

“Oh my!” I cried out, arching my back, clutching his hair tightly as tears slipped down my cheeks. “Lucien… I can’t… I can’t hold it…”

He nibbled softly, tugging gently, and I felt the tension snap. My toes curled, my belly clenched, and a rush of wetness spilled over him, drenching his face.

He chuckled, wiping his mouth, then slid his fingers inside me, swirling through the slickness with a teasing touch.
