Revenge is My Love Language novel Chapter 667

It was her mother who had made the mistake, not her. And she had already tried to atone for it. Was that still not enough for him to forgive her?

Lennon scoffed at her attitude, his face dark. “Who are you talking to? Do you really think he’d ever answer you?”

Crystal bristled but couldn’t argue.

Both siblings were resentful and unwilling to leave, but with Harrison’s word being final, they had no say in the matter.

By the time Anastasia woke up that afternoon, Susan and her two children were gone.

Looking around, however, she couldn’t help but ask a maid in a low voice, “Where is Mr. Harrison’s father?”

The maid whispered back, and Anastasia learned that Ryan had moved out with them. Although Susan’s family had been kicked out of the main estate, Ryan would obviously continue to provide for them. They had simply relocated to another Lancaster property, one owned by Ryan himself.

Anastasia frowned. First, he brings his mistress into the family home, and then he follows her when she’s forced out. Every action felt like a resounding slap in the face to her mother-in-law, Marina. What could have possibly happened between them to make a man humiliate his wife so publicly?

While Anastasia felt a surge of indignation for the mother-in-law she had yet to meet, she was also secretly relieved. Thank goodness her husband was nothing like his father.

Anastasia couldn’t help but smile. “That’s not necessary, Grandmother. I slept wonderfully—that’s why I’m only waking up now! The bed is perfect.”

She wasn’t usually so adaptable and often needed time to get used to new places. But Harrison’s room, where he had slept for so many years, was filled with his familiar scent. It had given her an immediate sense of security, and she had fallen asleep almost instantly.

“Good, good,” the matriarch said, patting her hand affectionately. “Come, these are your aunts, Debby and Emily. Do you remember them? They were very curious to meet you and wanted to have a chat.”

Two women stood beside the matriarch. One was older, with touches of silver at her temples, exuding a serene, graceful calm. That was Debby. The other was slightly younger, with a warm smile—Emily, the one who had spoken out against Susan’s family earlier.
