Bennett carefully fastened her seatbelt before starting the car and driving out of the complex.

The restaurant Bennett had chosen was also downtown, not far from Yvonne's apartment.

He parked in front of the restaurant, and they got out of the car one after the other.

She took off her hat and mask and sat down across from him.

Bennett looked up at her and chuckled wryly. "This date feels more like a secret affair."

He then handed her the menu.

Bennett gave the menu back to the waiter and asked casually, "What did you have for lunch?"

"I cooked, if you can believe it. Made four dishes and a soup, and they were perfect in every way." Yvonne proudly showed Bennett the photos she'd taken of her lunch on her phone.

Bennett glanced at the photo and immediately spotted Thomas' hand holding a plate. He was wearing the Patek Philippe that Bennett himself had given him as a birthday present.

"You ate with Thomas?" Bennett's tone turned jealous again.

"It was just for the show. He was the guest star," Yvonne explained, poking the back of his hand with her finger.

"When will Mr. Bennett Thompson grace me with his presence? I'll cook you a royal feast," she said, trying to butter him up with a smile.
