Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 194

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**

**Chapter 194: Sick in the Head**

From deep within the confines of the rest pod, Emma could hear the unmistakable sounds of excitement echoing through the air. Curiosity piqued, she stepped out into the open space, and there stood Aria, her face alight with joy as she clutched a handful of vibrant, crimson fruits against her chest.

“What is that?” Emma inquired, her eyes narrowing in on the round, red objects that resembled oversized apples.

They looked tantalizingly delicious, glistening under the soft light.

Yet, something about Aria’s demeanor struck Emma as peculiar the moment she posed her question. “Aria, did you level up?”

With a beaming smile, Aria nodded enthusiastically. “Yes! I encountered a horde of beasts last night and fought them all through the dark. That’s how I managed to level up!”

Pride radiated from her as she handed the fruits over to Emma. “I discovered these on my way here. I had one earlier, and it was incredibly sweet!”

Aria had never come across fruits like these before either. Driven by curiosity, she had conducted a series of tests, ensuring they were safe before sampling one herself.

“Emma, you really have to try one! After tasting just one, I couldn’t help but gather a whole bunch!”

Truth be told, there were no more of these fruits left on that side of the forest.

Emma took a few of the fruits, a smile tugging at her lips. “Just wait here. I’ll whip up a breakfast for us, and we can enjoy it together.”

With that, she set to work, skillfully transforming the fruits into a fresh salad and juice.

She also warmed up some of the bread she had baked earlier, the aroma wafting through the air, making her stomach rumble in anticipation.

Finally, she reached for the homemade peanut butter and jam she had lovingly prepared, her heart swelling with pride at the thought of sharing it with Aria.

In mere minutes, Emma had crafted a delightful breakfast and wasted no time in setting the table.

However, she had only prepared enough for herself and Aria. She assumed Corvin and Aria’s mate could manage to fend for themselves when it came to breakfast.

After all, the ingredients were readily available, and she had faith in Corvin’s ability to guide them.

“Emma, these are absolutely amazing!”

Aria’s delight was palpable, especially when she took a bite of the peanut butter sandwich.

In all honesty, Emma had a yearning to create a chocolate spread for herself, but alas, after years of living in this place, she had yet to come across any cacao seeds.

“And this jam… I feel like I’m in heaven!”

As Emma and Aria savored their breakfast, laughter and chatter filled the air.

Meanwhile, Corvin was nursing two dark bruises beneath his eyes, a testament to his sleepless night spent poring over books, trying to memorize their contents. He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he barely registered what he was doing while teaching Aria’s mate how to prepare breakfast.

Inside his crystal coffin, Marcus was suffering from a similar fate, having not slept a wink through the night.

He had finished reading the books on his lightcore, yet there were still some concepts that eluded his understanding.

His brow furrowed in concentration as he pondered, Can people really bend that way? Surely they wouldn’t snap in two, would they?

Just then, Malrik suddenly sprang out of the rest pod, bouncing over to Emma and nuzzling against her calf.

“Cotton Candy, you’re up!” Emma exclaimed, her heart swelling with joy as she scooped him into her arms, showcasing him to Aria.
