Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 343

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**
**Chapter 343: Celia’s Plan**

With a deliberate motion, she lifted his chin, her perfectly manicured fingers gliding against his skin. The guard, standing rigidly to the side, handed her the small vial containing the aphrodisiac. Without a moment’s hesitation, she forced it into his mouth, her voice cold and commanding.

“You don’t have a choice now,” she declared, watching as he swallowed, the tension in the air thickening around them.

With a flick of her wrist, she discarded the empty bottle onto the polished floor, the glass clinking sharply against the surface. Turning to the guards, she ordered, “Dress Malrik and send him to Dahlia’s room.” Her tone left no room for argument.

The banquet outside was on the verge of commencing, and she had a role to play—a host who needed to greet her guests with a charming smile, masking the storm brewing beneath the surface.

Inside the grand banquet hall of the Enchanter Clan, Emma had transformed her appearance completely. Draped in a stunning blue gown that hugged her figure perfectly, she entered alongside Aria. The fabric shimmered under the soft glow of chandeliers, making her feel both powerful and vulnerable at once.

Behind them trailed Silas, Lucien, and a handful of others, all of them cloaked in disguises that would shield their true identities.

As they made their way through the crowd, whispers of their plan flickered between them like the shadows cast by the flickering candles. Malrik’s fate hung in the balance, his condition a mystery. If he had been gravely injured and was hidden away by the Enchanter Clan, a direct search could be disastrous; it might push them to conceal him even deeper in their lair.

The Enchanter Clan had extended their invitation to the Aurelians for this banquet, and to blend in seamlessly, Emma had adopted the persona of a female from Aurelia. She introduced herself as Aria’s cousin, a clever ruse to attend the event without raising suspicion.

Lucien and Marcus, ever the diligent protectors, assumed the role of her guards, their expressions steely and focused as they scanned the room for any sign of danger.

As Emma and Aria stepped into the vibrant ambiance of the banquet hall, their eyes quickly landed on Celia, Malrik’s mother. She was animatedly engaged in conversation with Dahlia, her face alight with joy as she held her daughter’s hand.

Silas had shown Emma a photograph of Celia prior to their arrival, and recognition sparked instantly within her. Yet, despite the warmth of the gathering, there was no trace of Malrik anywhere in sight.

Just as Emma was about to survey the room further, Celia’s gaze caught hers. A smile spread across Celia’s face as she eagerly approached, pulling Dahlia along with her.
