Chapter 640: There you are!

Damon couldn’t hold back as the delicious smell of her blood danced around him. As he dug deep into her, he bent his head down and bit into her neck, tasting her intoxicating blood as he continued thrusting into her.

Surprisingly, Lirae’s blood was not exactly like a vampire’s blood. It was also not elven or human. It was completely different from anything he had tasted. A new and unique elven race indeed.

Damon blinked blearily, still half in a dream when the frantic scratching intensified.

Damon carefully shifted so he wouldn’t wake Lirae. She murmured something soft in her sleep, turning toward the warmth he left behind. Even unconscious, she reached for him. Her fingers brushed the sheets where his arm had been moments ago. He placed one last kiss against her temple before slipping off the bed.

Meow! More scratching. The sound of someone clearly throwing their entire kitten soul at the door.
