The moment Damon regained his footing back in the real world, the first thing he felt was a staggering, bone-deep weakness.

It hit him instantly, so abruptly that his knees nearly buckled. His breath hitched, chest tightening, as though someone had taken the vibrant, roaring power inside him from the game world... and replaced it with a flickering candle struggling to stay lit.

This time, the contrast felt harsher, sharper, far more brutal than before.

Damon ignored the guy and finished his little victory celebrations. Today, not even this bastard could ruin his mood. Actually, especially this bastard couldn’t ruin his mood.
