Chapter45
Jeremiah saw her reaction like that, he couldn’t help but sigh in his heart.
Just nodded silently and sat down to eat.
Just finished eating, the doorbell rang.
Paulette went to open the door, and there was someone from the property management standing outside.
“Hello… You’re Mrs. Swanson, right? So, our property is celebrating its fifth anniversary, and we’re planning to have a tea party this Sunday afternoon. Would you be able to join us?”
This was the first time Paulette was called ‘Mrs. Swanson‘.
Although, it’s hard to say exactly what went wrong.
Fiancee is also a wife, sooner or later.
Her cheeks quickly turned red, and she stammered, “I…I have time.”
The staff handed over the invitation with a smile, “That’s great, looking forward to seeing you.”
Paulette walked in dazed, Jeremiah had already finished breakfast, and he furrowed his brows slightly at her puzzled expression, asking, “Who?”
“Just… the property people.”
Called her Mrs. Swanson.
Jeremiah raised his eyebrows and took the invitation from her hand, opening it.

This tea party only invited female homeowners, addressed as Dear Mrs. Swanson.
He gave a slight smile and handed the invitation back to Paulette, calmly saying, “If you have time, you can come and join us, it will help promote harmonious relationships.”
Paulette blinked and said, “Okay.”
Jeremiah changed clothes and went to the company, leaving Paulette
alone at home.
She had the logistics people come over first, and sent some of the luggage to Crireton.
Just finished work, Jessica called me to go shopping with her. “You’re about to leave, you can’t just ignore me like that! I’m warning you, even if there’s a national emergency, you better put it aside and come out with
me!”
Paulette couldn’t resist her, so she changed clothes and went to the appointment.
“It’s so much better now. Look at you before, had to report to Nelson every time you went out. People who didn’t know would think you were a three–year–old kid.”
Jessica was walking arm in arm with Paulette, complaining as they walked, “It’s a good thing you just had a crush on him, and he doesn’t like you. If you really ended up with him, who knows how tough life would be.”
Paulette couldn’t help but laugh, “Is it really that exaggerated?”
But Nelson did keep a close eye on her, even imposing a curfew when she went to college.
