I dial the number for Alpha Axel’s pack and get a pack member. I ask for him and wait for him to answer the phone.

“Alpha Axel.”

“Alpha Axel, this is Alpha James from the Alpha Academy.”

“Hello Alpha, is everything alright?”

“Now, I’m guessing you dabbled in that little bit of fun, and she made your life miserable when you found your Luna. The council will be hearing about this.”

“Fine. I’ll be there by the end of the week to get her,” he says.

“No, I’m not surprised. I’m fucking disappointed in him,” I growl as Sylvie walks in with three trays of food.

“I should have kicked her out the other day,” she says. I can feel her guilt at what almost happened to Noah.
